Alexander "Alex" Jørgensen
A career criminal whose activities primarily include armed robbery, murder for hire, and the occasional drug sale (usually when the drugs are acquired during any type of theft). This has been his existence since his teenage years, his parents having been not quite loving nor the best of role models, both of them drug addicts who stole fairly often to get money for their meth. “Meth,” he says, “tends to turn you into a rotten toothed, violent, vile piece of shit. I’ll sell it if I get it, but I’ve got no interest in touching the shit. Anything else save injectables are fair game.”
The problem with this lifestyle other than the obvious consequences are the ennui that’s formed over the years. “Same shit, different day. Maybe that’s not entirely true, but it sure as hell starts to feel like it. No matter what city or country I’m in, whether I’m holding a gun to some dealer’s head or abducting the wife of someone who owes someone else money, it all starts to blend in and feel the same. It’s the only life I know, but I’m getting tired of it. I need something different.”
Normalcy is violence, and violence is no longer just enough anymore for Alex. Something more is needed, something to thrill him, to take his mundane and make it into something more.
