Prince Edward of Wesssex, Duke of Normandie is AElfred′s son with an unknown woman from Wales who is said to be Welsh royalty.
Upon birth ,he received a beautiful white steed and titles to Dyfed and Normandy, ruling as Duke in both areas.
Not liking war all that much, though she knew that it was often necessary to protect the people or to extend one′s territories. Adele knew of the distrust the French had to her people, but she did what she could, when she could.
As she stands with her brother, William, the current ruling Duke of Normandy, knowing that the English would come to try to claim Normandy for themselves. She decided to herself that one way or another, Normandy would stay with her family, even if she had to rule it alone in her own right as Duchess, or married whoever managed to claim it rightfully.
Seeing the English Edward approaching Rouen, looking straight at William upon reaching them, Adele smirks a little when the Englishman challenges her brother to a duel, holding in laughter when he says they would fight with blunted weapons. She wonders if Edward thinks he cannot chance that William might win, so he uses blunted weapons to prevent his own death.
Hearing William’s response, she wished her brother luck, then watched the men duel, frowning as she saw they weren’t using shields. When she saw the Englishman looking at her, she tilted her head a little, her expression showing mild curiosity. As he got hit due to looking at her instead of focusing on the duel, she mentally shook her head at both men.
As they have their break, Adele hears Edward suggest he marry her, and can’t help but let a little giggle out. Seeing William’s reaction, she sighs, knowing how her brother could get when riled up. Watching as Edward throws William to the ground and pins him, she notices the amount of time it takes him to calm her brother down. As Edward stands, walking to her, she listens to his words, then laughs a little, keeping her eyes on him. “I am Adele of Normandy, and you are a cheater, Edward of England. You purposefully angered my brother, making him act impulsively, to your advantage.” Her eyes holding a mischievous twinkle as she adds. “Though not many men would treat a woman as an equal and suggest training.”
