Bray knew there was no escape. She saw the look in his eyes and knew she was in trouble. His Cole black eyes mixed with his belly laugh should have been enough warning. She continued to splash water while trying to make her way closer to shore. Her face suddenly covered in warm ocean water. "LOK ORCUS!" She squealed and lunged forward toward him. Her arms wrap around his neck and she smothers him with a deep, affectionate kiss as they sink under the water slightly.
Dipping his face under, he gurgled the water in his mouth and lifted his head up just in time to get splashed at. Bray wasn't scared of this big old cuddly fish. Lok puckered his lips, blew out his cheeks like a pufferfish and rumbled out a deep closed mouth laughing sound from his throat. He circled Bray again and endure more splashing as she taunted him. Finally he let hr have it. The mouthful of water that he held under pressure in his mouth came spitting out at her.
She was no stranger to the water. Bray was an exceptional swimmer. Her arms treaded water while her legs kicked beneath her in a slow rhythm. She watched as Lok tried to be a scary shark. She pretended to be scared for effects. "Oh no! Help.." She giggled and splashed water at him.
In the water, Lok was a natural swimmer. His hands and feet morphed into webbing and he was able to dive deeply without needing a breath. He swam around Bray like a circling shark while making scary Jaws music noises from his mouth.
For the first time all day, the Empress laughed, a warbling cackle that was quite pleasing to the ear. It was true; they had only 3 sons and a legion of daughters. who were more than capable of defending themselves and their paradise home.lands. She was about to mention sometime to the fact that they had plenty of grandsons to compensate but right then Misos latched on to her and swept the dark goddess off her feet. Once again Nyghtwolfe felt young and romantic in his strong, capable arms. It reminded her of when they first met and fell in love, a dozen centuries ago. Her legs carried her with his smooth motions as they did the tango across the sand. She managed to snatch a black rose off one of the tables and in true gothic style, placed the thorny stem between her teeth.
Braylin couldn't help but smile at Aras hug. She hugged her new little sister back tight. "Thank you so much Bonita." Braylin saw her new mother and father in law over Arabellas shoulder and gave them a smile and soft wave. She let go and pulled back from the hug. Just as she was about to speak, her body became limp and swiftly dangled over her husband's strong shoulder. Her palms slapped down against his lower back for stability and she screamed with laughter. "Baby! You little shit!" She knew there was no sense in trying to fight it, she was going into the water. She loved his playful side. Watching his feet pound the sand, Bray gave his backside a swift swat and laughed while the suddenness of the cool water splashed against her bare skin.
Misos saw his wife getting a few drinks of her own and quickly joined her. "Well, my love Lok is finally moving out. And he now has a new bride. now we can relax just a little bit... until all the new kids discover men!" Misos scratched his head "Been a while since we had any sons! Now we have an army of daughters!" Misos chuckled a little drinking another long island. Well with that Misos was feeling a little frisky so he grabbed Nyghtwolfe and turned her and began to dance as Rock lobster began to Blair!
Lok waited for his lil squirt of a sister to share her hugs with Bray. He twiddled his thumbs while he waited. He pretended to notice a pretty shell in the sand and bent over to pick it up. His head lifted up to make sure Bella wasn't standing in his path of destruction. Suddenly he charged at his wifey and grabbed hold of her around the thighs, lifting and heaving the rest of her body over his shoulder like a sack of grain. Lok was extra gentle not to hurt Bray as he made a mad dash to the rolling surf and threw himself in, with her still attached to him.
The Dark goddess had arrived in a brooding mood. That gloomy mood would not linger for too long as she saw her beloved Misos conjuring up zombies to he the food servers. Despite herself, Nyghtwolfe had to smile. He was always so handsome to her eyes and appetizing to her heart. She loved him deeply. Shaking off the mood, the dark goddess quickly walked over to the bar for a tall glass of bloodwine to satiate the gnawing of her lust for blood. In moods like this, the best antidote was to kill something. So she would kill a few glasses of bloodwine, down her gullet.
Braylin smiled watching him get ready. She was already dressed and ready to go. She slipped a hair tie around her wrist and nodded with a smile. "I'm ready when you are, handsome hubby." She stole a swift kiss then grabbed her flip flops with a smile.
The evening was what they needed. A time with family and friends. Bray giggled trying to dodge Loks attacking toes. Her feet were insanely ticklish. Hearing his comment about sharks, she leaned her mouth against his shoulder and nibbled like a hungry animal. "Dont forget about the land sharks silly." She stated with a playful laugh. Her tummy growled now, but thankfully the sound of the ocean drowned out the sound.
As the Orcus family were mostly gods of war and death, beaches were not the natural environment to find to find the family Especially their patriarch Misos. Lok, however, was his own man and so if he wanted a beach party Misos was hardly going to argue. He had to admit the music was soem what catchy. Misos just wished there were more skulls around and maybe some blood... yeah an ocean full of blood and skulls on those lantern things that is just what this party needed! Misos chuckled to himself thinking about it. He could easily make something like that happen... but he did not want to ruin Lok's party... So instead Misos summoned zombies to go around getting people's orders. He altered their clothes so they would all be wearing bright Hawaiian shirts and Bermuda shorts. "now the party can begin!" Misos exclaimed as he went to the bar looking for some long island iced teas.
Alucar stays in the shadows, his eyes moving back and forth at all the partying people and he slowly shakes his head. "This is not my forte..... You all enjoy yourself." Alucar looks at the palm beach tree and gives a sigh of disgust.
Lok was excited! After a good night's sleep, he and Bray were starting their new life together as husband and wife. He found her in their bedroom, laying out a pair of beach shorts for him and a t-shirt, just like his Mom used to do for him when he was a little boy. He slid into the shorts and slipped the shirt over his head, rolling it down to fit his long torso. He didn't worry about the hot sand on his feet. Most demons were immune to intense heat. Their bodies absorbed it with relief, like a cool drink of water to a thirsty man. It was ok too if the night was quiet. Lok didn't mind the excess of noise or the engulfing quiet as long as he had Bray by his side. Lok grinned happily at his Wife. "Are you ready to go to the beach my Sunshine girl? "
At the beach, he loved to feel the hot sand squish between his toes. He stood there a long moment, pretending his toes were sand crabs burrowing deep. Balancing his weight on one leg, his other foot burrowed towards Bray's dainty feet and he played a game of sand footsies with her. Lok saw his sister running towards the water. He lifted his hand to his mouth and yelled, "What out for the Sand Sharks!"
