Nan{Daughter of Lady Ylva}{Yggdrasil Kingdom}

Nan smiled to Revan taking the drink. "Thank you. ogre?" she snorted a laugh before she leaned back in her chair to look at him fully. "No haven't been here real long although I managed to avoid my aunt so I say that's a win right now." she smirked and moved to push her empty glass towards the center of the table and picked up the one he just gave her and she moved to sip from the new one.

Revan Shaw (KOED-LY)

Revan hadn't been to Asgard before. He knew one or two of its famous residents but mostly from Club Scarab. One he knew very well was already here, the fighter that had gone from being a student of his at Lyonesse Library to also bring his protege in club scarab. Nan.

Taking a drink for himself Revan gave a respectful nod to each of the guests before walking over to where Nan sat. "Well hello there. You been here long? Sorry for the delay in my arrival. I was trying to catch an escaped ogre in the library". He grinned and handed her a drink.

Nan{Daughter of Lady Ylva}{Yggdrasil Kingdom}

Nan hadn't been home to Asgard in awhile she was avoiding her aunt telling her no all the time but she appeared in the golden light in her cat costume and when she noticed the zombie she tilted her head looking at it for awhile the growls and moans had her distracted for a few moments before she avoided her aunt and uncle and moved towards the tables with the drinks she picked up one sniffing it before she put it back down spotting one she did want she picked it up and smiled to one of the workers before she sipped the glass popping one of the finger foods into her mouth she walked towards the back of the room.

Finding a chair she planted herself into it she wondered just how long it would take her twin to show up. Or her mother for that matter if she would even bother coming. She stared tapping her claws against her now empty glass and looked around the room her aunt always had the best taste in everything. That must be a trait Nan learned form her aunt Amora.

Empress Nyghtwolfe Orcus **SOS**ROM**TAK**

Halloween was the favorite holiday of both Nyghtwolfe and Misos. Their gothic style of living and decor year round gave the Atlantean palace a permanent creepy atmosphere. For this special Halloween event, she squeezed into a tight black leather outfit and pinned up her long ebony hair, completing the style with a thin black netting. Using mascara, she began artistically drawing a spider web design on her forehead, throat and shoulders, darkened her natural lashes and contrasted it with bright red lipstick. It was actually not too much different than her normal wardrobe and appearance, but a slight more fancier than her everyday casual look.

Feeling like a glamour queen, Nyghtwolfe walked into the Yggdrasil party with the air of refined elegance. Seven's zombie doorman didn't even raise an eyebrow with her. She pointed a long painted fingernail at it and spoke authoritatively, "Oh hush up you. Sit."

As always, the ballroom decorations were impressive. Amora's taste in the macabre was perfect. Nyghtwolfe wandered over to the bar, "A glass of blood wine please."

BlackBeard (Son of Capt Julia) Pirate Realm

Arg!" grumbled Blackbeard the notorious pirate as he pawed through his raggedy old clothes for something resembling a costume. They all smelled like manly sweat, mixed with an aroma of sea wind and sun. He growled again and dug deeper into his closet. There in the far back was an old santa suit that he wore years ago as Edward Teach before he became a privateer and pirate.

"Aye, it be perfecto!", he rumbled a deep hoarse laugh and pulled the old moth-eaten suit off the hanger. He had gained a robust belly over the years but it still fit him fairly good enough. Several hours later, his mighty ship pulled into the Yggdrasil harbor and he disembarked. (how he got there is not important, let's just say he did.)

Strolling into the Halloween party dressed as a very disheveled Santa Claus, he gave a raspy Ho! Ho! Ho! and stomped towards the beverage table.
"Where be thar Rum?"

Blackbeard saw a serving wench filling tankards. He motioned to her and spoke gruffly, "Ye come over here and sit on me lap, little lassy. Mayhaps Santa will give ye a present."

Hell Princess Angelique * Tormentor* TDG

Angelique regarded the approaching male with a silent and thin smile. The blond lady was already chattering away to him. Another couple gravitated towards them, presumingly the hosts by their welcoming speech. Indeed, there was plenty of everything for the cenobite to sample, which she was already in the process of doing. As Thor moved away to greet others, his parting words struck a funny cord with Angelique. She spoke animated with a touch of rare emotion in her voice, "Glitter? Oh joy, we're going to be sparkled."

Angelique didn't mind at all. Although she loved her abyssal home, Hell was such a drab and uncolorful place most of the time. The mere thought of returning home with a rainbow trail of glitter was enough to make her laugh, "I don't know how I'll explain the glitter to my Master, but it might be interesting to see his reaction."

Amora The Enchantress {Queen Of Asgard} {Wife Of Thor} {Yggdrasil Kingdom}

Getting ready for their annual party, or one of them, was relaxing. Which was good because between the children running through the rooms and the adults feeling just as jvial with tricks and treats it was a very high energy evening. Babies all sleeping at home and younger children playing with one another and the nanny home was already filled with chatter and laughter, and that theme carried on as she and Thor headed down.

Spotting the rather slimy zombie tethered already there she rolled her eyes, "Well that will lend some authentic scents." But once it was out of sight she tried to push it out of mind, making a note to ensure smaller ones stayed away from the moaning mess. Smiling at their guests already piling in she admired the costumes already there adding on, "Maia yours might already be my favorite outfit of the night," she told the red head with a grin.

Thor waited until his wife was ready before they headed down to the ball room. They did this each each and he hoped this party was a success as it was last year. He kissed his wife's knuckles before he moved to place her arm around his as they where announced. He noticed plenty of people arrived early and he looked down to his wife with a grin. He was told his good friend Seven brought a zombie from his home and Thor chuckled about this although he knew his wife wouldn't find it as amusing.

Spotting Seven he lead his wife towards him along with the woman whom circled him. Thor gave them all a polite nod before extending his free hand to Seven. "I see you brought us a biter." Thor motioned his thumb over his shoulder chuckling. "Thank you for joining us. Ladies thank you as well. Plenty of food and drinks to go around. Just keep an eye out for Arethusa she will have blue hair and she already threatened Amora and I there would be glitter and plenty of it." he chuckled once more.

Minerva **ROM** Athena

Athena was not familiar with the Body Shoppe, but she suspected (judging by the odd costume that Angelique wore tonight), that it was more of a cult thing for radical people wanting to distinctify themselves from everyone else. Before she could ask more about it, the conversation turned to gingerbread cookies. Her blond hair tumbled over her shoulders as she shook her head, "No, actually I haven't tasted them yet, but I will at your recommendation."

She flashed a cordial smile at Angelique and reached past her for a cookie. The odd woman smelled of body rot and organic decay. Athena held her breath, lest she feel sickened by the odor. The familiar and friendly voice of Seven felt like a relief. Turning to greet Seven, she gulped down a lungful of fresh air. She changed the mood to small talk, "In my culture, Apokries is celebrated for 3 weeks in February. It's the equivalent festival to your October Halloween with much of the same traditional rituals; masked costumes, treat o' treating for meatless food, and the drink of wine."

She gave her attention to Seven but occasionally gave Angelique a smiling glance just to include her into the conversation, "In ancient times, it originated to worship Dionysos, the God of Wine and Feast. Costumed people go from house to house, knocking on doors for special sweets. It's sort of the same basic idea as Halloween, but for a completely different purpose. The name apokries means abstention from meat. It's mostly dancing and singing in the streets."

Seven Temp'elar (FW:KOC:BT)

For a man who lived in a haunted town infested with zombies that itself seemed alive and connected to hell itself, a Halloween party was often a morbid fascination for Seven. Regardless he was very good friends with the hosts and so arrived early leaving a gift chained to the railing: a zombie from blackthorn itself. "Try not to bite anyone" he said before wondering in. Athena he knew, the other lady was new to him. Regardless he walked over to a table taking a drink and joined the group. "Hello everyone".

Hell Princess Angelique * Tormentor* TDG

The soft feminine voice turned Angelique's head to look upon one of the other party guests, a flaxen-haired beauty. She was babbling on about how great all the costumes were, giving praise to Angelique for her own genius self-creation. The cenobite princess was whirling ideas around in her head of ways to improve the woman's polished look with mutation ... uh, Athena, she had introduced herself as.

Angelique kept her thoughts wisely silent, however entertained the thought of reconfiguring those perfectly unblemished features. Her dark eyes twinkled evilly as she listened and politely nodded. Realizing that the over-friendly woman was some sort of Greek goddess, it was best to not invite trouble upon herself by saying too much.

"My name ... is Angelique.", she said in response, "I work at the Body Shoppe", she vaguely offered about herself without further elaboration. She picked up a gingerbread cookie, "Have you tried these yet? They're delicious."

Minerva **ROM** Athena

Dressed in a lacy black skirt and tight fitting corset, Athena flitted into the party like a butterfly, twirling a dainty parasol. over her right shoulder. Her eye mask was elegant, matching the gothic style of her costume. In contrast to her blond hair and fair complexion, the entire look was completed by a draping black necklace. She knew most of the people attending this Halloween party, as friends, close or distantly.

Athena was not quite ready for the morbid sight of one lady that she did not know. She was fascinated by Angelique, as was briefly introduced near the food tables as she helped herself to a plate of yummies. Despite her efforts to remain in casual, light conversation, Athena could not help but stare at the strange woman's hideous costume appearance. It looked so real!! As mind boggling as it was, she knew in the deepest most rational part of her brain that it was only just a costume.

Hell Princess Angelique * Tormentor* TDG

In October, the threshold veil between the land of the living and the netherworld of the dead is thin. The humans celebrate with the social event of Halloween. They dress up like ghouls and witches, zombies and vampires. Sure, it's all play acting and scary fun for them, but for Angelique, it's a normal and natural way of life. The Cenobite was a Princess of Darkness, daughter of Leviathan. In her transformation, she learned to appreciate the beauty of mutation, much the same as a human would do with piercings, tattoos, or other form of body art. A Cenobite has their flesh corrupted and modified, twisted and reconfigured.

Angelique considered herself an artist as she carefully peels back the skin from her clientele and reattached it to small hooks and jewelry chains in a grotesque manner of appearance. But for her, it is not ugly at all. It is a masterpiece of beauty. She practices a supernatural form of hedonism; achieved by enduring excruciating pain through incessant tortures that transcend all traditional laws of physics. But enough about her personal life. Current day, she resurfaces to the top world of the humans to celebrate Halloween.

Angelique passes through the thin veil between realities, leaving hell behind as she reemerges into a glamorous ballroom decorated with creepy spider webs, carved pumpkinheads and other nocturnal imagery. Her mutilated body mingles in well with the human costumes, giving her a welcoming feeling of belonging. Her skull, peeled back to expose the bone, shimmers in the candlelight as she walks among the humans once more.

Making her way to the food tables, she finger nibbles the assortment of goodies there; spiced cake, sugary treats, candy apples, maple sugar. For a brief moment, she reminisces and misses her past life among the humans, until she remembers why she had left before, and the new found happiness in the Dark Garden's Body Shoppe. For this one special night, she is friendly and sociable. A night where humans and darklings gather together in mutual harmony,
