Serpentine’s Roleplaying Guidelines (MUST BE SIGNED!)

- Notes: Please read my rules and sign down below. I know, rules are a pain in the ass. get over it!
I’m not Eiza Gonzales or a yellow python—just your enthusiastic host here! Remember to keep OOC chats in private messages so we can keep the main forum focused on our epic narratives. All stories will be placed in a GROUP FORUM. Never in comments or messages. When it comes to writing, let’s aim for at least 100 words or more. I prefer multiple paragraphs over a single wall of text. Please try to pack it with rich details—this helps our stories come alive! Lack of details is boring so I don’t accept it. Kindness is key, so let’s treat each other with respect and keep those communication lines open; I’m here for your thoughts and concerns! I am willing to explore any adult themes, let’s plan that out ahead of time to avoid any awkward surprises. No instant r^pes or children, you will be blocked. I will be using the Third-person the POV that uses a narrator with access to only one character's perspective, a limited perspective.
This means that the narrator experiences one character's emotions and
internal thoughts and perceives any surrounding characters through their
eyes as an observer. I find this view-point hard to write. So practice makes perfect!
If you added me, say something. I’m not a mind-reader. I will say something to you, when I can, if I add you. Rushing me to reply to you is a huge No-no. If you can’t be patient, then get off. However I will not wait for weeks on end for you to reply back to me. So on the 30th of each month. I will do a check-in. To see if you would like to rp or not. If there is no response within the next 7 days (1-7). I will delete you! COMMUNICATION IS PARAMOUNT AND NEEDS TO HAPPEN. Don’t add me if you're gonna delete me in a day or a week. That is just plain rude and pisses me off. To tie in with the above, the opposite is true. If you're only adding me to collect [Friends], then leave me alone. I’m here to write, not collect friends/mutes. I’m not here to play games. I’m here to write stories. So no drama. You will be deleted. When writing, check your spelling and grammar. I use a word counter and google docs for my writing. You should do something similar. Use quotes “” for speaking. Single quotes ‘ for quoting work of other writers. Bold for speaking, Italics for Thinking, and Underline for Emphasis. Dagger (†) should be used to signal a footnote. Asterisk (*) should be used to censor words, if you don’t approve of bad language. Plotting is a must. No f*cking instant plots. I prefer to come up with a starting place, time, and such. The five W's (Who, what, where, when, and why!!). All Out of character OOC/Tilde (OOC ~):, will be used for Signaling when I am me ^The Writer^. All In-Character IC/Pipe (IC ||); will be used to signal When I am in Character.I can’t wait to see the amazing worlds we’ll create together! So, ready to dive in? Let’s make some magic happen!
