Blackthorn Town/ Temp'elar Family Event: Mittens and The Vanishing of the Temp'elar Family.
Mittens didn't like this.
Mittens didn't like this at all. It had been nearly twenty minutes since she
had woken from her afternoon nap that had in fairness turned into an evening
nap, and despite mawing and meowing her loudest nobody had come to feed her!
With the grace of a panther she
pounced up onto the window ledge of Cal's bedroom where she had chosen to take
her nap. Outside all the family cars were still visible. This was most unusual.
With a casual nature she leapt down and patted her way out of the door, meowing
occasionally to call out for attention. If she didn't see her humans regularly
she became very concerned for them. Such foolish if adorable creatures they
could be. They only slept once a day, they ate bits of leaf and such with their
meat and some of the noises that came from their bedrooms in the night were
ungodly!
Having searched the top two
floors of the estate with no sign of them Mittens became especially concerned.
She pounced down, two steps at a time to the ground floor and saw all their
coats on the hangers. She leapt onto the table side by the door, and saw all
their keys. Everyone's, even the family that didn't always live here!
This was most unusual. She ran
into the kitchen to find to her horror that their was no cat food in her bowl!
Not even water in her drinking bowl!
"Meow! Meeeooooooww!"
She called out. Had Rex, that smelly zombie dog eaten them? No, no their would
be blood and mucky dog stink everywhere. Then it hit her. Like a flash she knew
what had happened.
Aliens. Aliens had kidnapped
them all. Her whole family. She slumped down with a quiet "maaaw".
She was going to miss her humans. True, they could be loud, and Luna seemed
determined to turn into a cat despite being clearly the wrong shape, but still
she would miss them. And how would she get at the food?
With a slow sad waddle, Mittens
ambled out of the kitchen and towards the lounge. She thought back to the good
times, running around the Academy with Cal and Mizzy. Keeping guard for Sera.
Helping Seven and Kaya catch zombie rats and so many other things. Then she heard a sound. A
strange creepy whisper. She crouched down her nose twitching picking up a scent
of burning oxygen. Her eyes could see a flickering light.
The Aliens had come back for
her! Should she run? Hide? No. No! These things had taken her family and by God
she would face them, cat to weird sticky gooey alien thing!
She crouched back, her tail and
butt wiggling in preparation and with a loud "MEOW" she burst through
into the lounge!
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MITTENS!"
Mittens looked around with a
questioning "meow?" There stood the whole Temp'elar family. Every
single one of them holding cakes with candles. Bags of catnip. Balls of string
with bows on them. Mittens wasn't sure exactly what a birthday was but they
seemed to be excited about it.
They all came towards her, and
by Jove she was ready to give them a piece of her mind. But they all started
stroking her. Tickling her belly. Feeding her the catnip and kissing her
forehead. Whatever this birthday thing was it was clearly about her! Mittens
became very aware suddenly that she was purring. She was as happy as she had
ever been. She had her family, all the attention and love she could want and
catnip.
She decided that for now she
would give them all the cat love they wanted in return.
She would poop in there shoes
later.

Wishseeker Episode 3: Chasing Shadows.
Episode 3: Chasing Shadows.
"We are the Borg... Resistance is futile".
The Free World Starship 'Wish-Seeker' glided effortlessly through the black river of space. It had been several weeks now since they had left the Free World System and headed out into the unexplored expanse of space. Free World had sent out countless probes to the nearby systems but they would be the first vessel to see it for themselves.
On the circular bridge various officers and crew members moved from science station to console as they plotted there journey and recorded unusual findings. But one man was almost as calm as the black void outside. The captain, Kim Temp'elar.
"Status report Ensign" he stated to the young Fizzy Lovejoy who sat at a console station in front of him. Following a few beeps from the buttons her fingers danced over she replied "all systems functioning as expected Captain, we should reach the anomaly in around twenty minutes".
The Anomaly. They hadn't known what else to call it. Following there departure from the system they had soon picked up strange readings including matter that had a different 'code' than that found in our universe. Similar but not identical. Slight time distortions surrounded it and even visibly the space seemed to warp.
"Thank you Ensign, I'll be in the engine room. Alert me when we arrive. You have the bridge".
The Engine flickered with brilliant blue light, processing the massive amounts of energy required to power the Wish-Seeker. Kneeling down to the side of it, tinkering with the interface was the lieutenant in charge of the engine and its systems, Lt. Tori. She brushed her dark hair back behind her ear as she tried stubbornly to improve the reaction time, despite it already functioning at
Episode 3: Alls fair in love and war.
Captain Kim Temp'elar of the Free World Starship Wishseeker sat at his desk reading the message. It was the fourth time he had read it and yet he felt that it just hasn't sunk in. Finally the door to his quarters beeped. "Come in".
Entering the room, his sister and second in command Sarina Lee was accompanied by Ensign Fizzy Lovejoy and chief of security Alexandra. His senior staff had been called the moment the message had come through and by now he hoped to have more answers to give the questions that would inevitably follow.
"Free World is at War. Dark Moon Base has declared itself an independent Nation having been captured by a threat known to the council calling himself Darth Rapter". The three looked around in shock, mostly he guessed, because it seemed like a comically unbalanced war with Free World easily able to wipe out the threat.
"We have also been given more grave news that a secret ship known as the Nightmare Child was taken and used in aiding them, one able to do things the rest of the fleet cannot do and that is a threat to the whole planet".
Finally the more impulsive of the three, Fizzy, spoke up.
"Captain, many of the other ships are not fully functional yet. At least not the larger ships. That's why we are the only ship out here! Are we returning to aid in the attack?"
The others nodded, readying themselves to plot a course. But the Captain shook his head. This was the part that had shocked him also.
"No. I'm not sure of the details as the council are not willing to send to much information across sub space in case it's intercepted. However our mission is to do something that will apparently aid the council in a way I don't fully understand".
He handed his sister a data pad. "These co-ordinates will take us to a micro worm hole that has several weak points in its structure. We are going to use this to split the barriers between realities and contact a species called...The Borg".
The three looked perplexed. Finally he continued.
"In our universe the Borg were destroyed around forty years ago according to the data I'm given, apparently however they had advanced and deadly tech and someone used it in creating the Nightmare child. Our Grandfather, Seven, made contact with a version of the Borg in one universe many years ago and became allies so he hopes their Queen will come through to help us".
Sarina Lee looked uneasy but quickly nodded "yes captain, let's go".
The Wishseeker tore through space like an arrow through the midnight air. Finally reaching its destination, it stopped. The crew went about final checks on the array that would open up the inter-dimensional hole in space until finally satisfied Sarina Lee nodded "it's ready captain".
With a nod the captain gave the order, and a blue and purple beam flew from the ship. The blackness ahead started to tremble like the surface of a lake under a strong breeze. Suddenly the stream began to stutter and split! The ship rocked and with fizzing explosions around the bridge, it stopped.
"What happened? Ensign report!"
Fuzzy looked at her screen frantically. " Captain the stream fractured... It worked it opened a passage to that dimension and the signal sent but... It sent the same signal to another dimension too and..."
The signal had fractured and had caused two rifts, calling to the borg. One to a dimension which Seven had made allies with the species. Another where he had not.
Captain Philip stood up. He knew the risk they were now under as a massive cube shaped ship came through. The communications fuzzed and the message erupted.
"We are the Borg. Lower your shields and prepare to be bordered. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Resistance is futile!"
"Raise shields, NOW!" He called out before turning to the weapons station. Even before they could fire the Borg ship fired heavy weapons at them, the shields dropping instantly.
"Fire everything we have, and avoid the tractor beam!"
The smaller ship flew around the massive cube with explosions rocking the bridge every time a shot his them.
" Captain" cried Fizzy "Another cube is coming from the second dimension!"
"Send one message to both ships" he said, frantically trying to keep the shields up "Seven says he will teach you about art".
She looked confused, but nodded and sent the message.
The transmission was distorted with static interference but the Borg Queen coming through on the second cube could understand enough of it to trigger a reaction in her. Without needing to speak a single word, her cube immediately stopped its barrage of missiles upon the intruding vessel.
Onboard the wishseeker the shields began to fail. Whilst the Borg Queen had stopped her attack, the other borg ship from the a different dimension continued to attack. "Prepare to man escape pods" called out Kim, ready to go down with the ship when suddenly a massive explosion filled the screen. The attacking Borg cube exploded leaving only the one remaining. "Sir, it seems the second cube just saved us" Fizzy said with a degree of confusion.
The echoes of the blasts stretched out onto the expanding silence of space. The Borg Queen’s face showed an unusual emotion of uncertainty; lips pursed tight and the crease of indecision in her forehead skin. Even the borg drones now paused in their activities with heads simultaneously turning to look at her, wondering in their conscious thoughts the abrupt absence of hers. One of the higher ranking officers dared to break that insufferable silence, “What is wrong?” he queried almost argumentally, “They have invaded our sector. They should be destroyed and assimilated just as the false Borg were".
The Borg Queen slowly turned her face to stare at the outspoken drone. His questioning her command was uncommon behavior for the collective hive, and very dangerous. She let out a slow breath to calm the rising heat of a temper building inside.
“I, myself, alone will tend to this matter”, she retorted dismissively, “Your prioritized orders is to continue to the home planet of Species 8472 as was planned. Do not alter your prime directive by this minor ‘distraction’. Continue your course to Undine.”
When a member of Species 8472 attacks a victim with its claws, some of its residue of cells is left in the wound. These stray cells multiply, spreading through the victim's entire body, consuming it from the inside out while the victim remains conscious and unaware of the damage being done. Since the attacking cells employ the same advanced immune response as when inside the creature, it also makes them entirely immune to Borg assimilation. Species 8472 had become a prominent threat to the Borg and needed to be hunted down and eliminated from the equation.
As the officer stood mute, staring at her with his jaw clenched shut to not further disobey orders; his cheeks blushed red with shame of humiliation. This uncontrolled show of emotion was not lost upon the Borg Queen’s observing eyes. She pressed a few keystrokes in the computer console to schedule him a mind purge and ensure that his nanoprobes were functioning properly. Occasionally a drone remembers its past life when there is failure in the nanoprobes functional ability.
"Now without further interference" the Borg Queen barked sharply a command to the others aboard her Cube vessel, “Prepare us for ‘guests’. Let them board us without further aggression. They have something of great value that I require.”

Wishseeker Episode 2: Test Run.
Episode 2: Test Run.
"I'm not entirely convinced Captain" said Alexandra, eyeing the small shuttle cautiously. Captain Kim Temp'elar smiled, understanding her hesitation. So much of their first month aboard the wish-seeker had been routine. They checked out a few local anomalies, took some readings and scans to send home and once or twice layer down transmitters to improve communications within the free world's system.
But yesterday they had left the system and were readying to begin warp flight to distant space. This was something they had all been anticipating. They had taken onboard their full crew, tested all the ships systems. Yet one more thing remained before they could set off on their voyage. The ships shuttle craft.
"The damned thing is smaller then my horse back in Camelot" Alexandra protested, before quickly remembering her rank and adding "...Captain". Kim chose to ignore Her momentary lack of protocol. "I understand your concerns Alexandra, however we have to test it sometime and I would rather do so before we leave all support behind".
"Captain, ensign Lovejoy reporting for duty". Kim turned with a smile. The young Ensign had graduated from Blackthorn Academy only a few months ago and yet already she was joining them to leave the system. "Welcome to the Wish-seeker ensign. I'm sorry that I hadn't been able to greet you earlier".
She kept a super straight back and shook her head "quite alright sir. What time will we be taking off" she nodded to the shuttle. Kim glanced to it "in two hours ensign. Ensure the shuttle is prepped and ready for take off. If you need anything, Alexandra here will assist you". As the captain left the room Alexandra offered her hand "you can call me Alexandra, what should I call you?" The ensign visibly relaxed taking her hand "my name is Fizzy. Fizzy Lovejoy".
Two hours later...
"This is the bridge to main shuttle bay" came the voice of commander Sarina Lee, second in command and brother to Kim. "The bay doors are now opened and you are set to depart. There is a small asteroid field nearby, one of them fairly large. You should be able to test land and return. I'm sending co-ordinates".
Inside the shuttle, Fizzy sat in close proximity to her new captain. The cramped space of the shuttles cockpit was in contrast to the Wish-Seekers spacious environment. "With all due respect captain, why do we even need this shuttle? We have matter transporters that can beam us to a planets surface".
Kim lifted back the controls of the shuttle, raising it from the shuttle bay floor and guiding it out through the bay doors. "Transporters are highly experimental. This isn't a magical mode of transport like the Kiera Bridge or the Mirrors used by the Hattress back in Camelot. It's science and machinery. It can break or malfunction". He turned with a smile "besides Ensign Fizzy, half the fun is in the journey".
Back on board the Wish-Seeker, Sarina Lee glanced over the transfer files of Ensign Fizzy Lovejoy. Her face contorted into concern she accessed her computer systems. "Computer, put me through to this number" she requested typing in a code. After a few rings the screen flickered to life with the face of a young man, rubbing his eyes.
"Sorry if I woke you sir" she added quickly.
The young man smiled "I don't even have an official rank yet Sarina, I think it's okay just to call me Cal".
The shuttle circled around the asteroid belt looking to find one large enough to land on. The look of excitement on Kim's face was clear. "So Ensign Fizzy, what made you request to come onboard the Wish-Seeker? I know we are the first ship out here but I have seen some of the other ships that will be looking for crews soon. Some with people you would know very well".
She winced a little but kept her composure. "I wished to make new friends and new opportunities". She pointed to a large asteroid on the scanner "there is one captain".
Kim nodded and instigated automatic landing. The craft silently but with a physical 'thud' landed. He turned towards her "are you sure your not running away rather than towards?" She seemed more unsettled and fidgety.
"I read your file Fizzy. It was only a few months ago you discovered that Mizzy Temp'elar was your sister. That Vena who helped our enemies was your mother, resurrected. If I was you I could understand the need to run away, all the way out of the solar system". He looked towards her as she burst into tears.
Calcifer mulled over the question. "If your asking my opinion I think she is a great girl. A lot like Mizzy herself but a little more... Erratic"
Sarina Lee didn't look comforted "no offence Cal but our dear Mizzy is pretty erratic herself! Her sister seems to be a lot less stable from these records and whilst she has clearly buried herself in her studies to pass as Ensign level so quickly but finding out that she had lived alone for so long whilst her sister she didn't even remember was living in our estate. Not to mention that her mother was a zombie that died all over again in the recent war..."
Cal nodded "I know what your saying. Look, I haven't got any position in this fleet yet. But your asking me because I'm family..." He sighed "she is a good kid. But she couldn't make peace with Mizzy. She wanted to escape. But that isn't your problem. I'll tell dad to expect a call from you. We can have her returned and relocated to a ship that won't be so isolated".
The shuttle sat silently in the dead emptiness of space. Inside however Fizzy sat on the floor curled up in a ball and trembling in tears. "Your right Captain I'm a coward! It's no wonder I was left to rot on the streets". He sat with his arm around her.
"Mizzy was being a hero while I lived a stupid fantasy life pretending not to hate what a waste of space I have become!" She bashed her head against the wall of the shuttle in frustration.
"Look Ensign..." Kim went to speak but suddenly the craft shifted, twisting over. From the shelf behind a steel crate fell smashing into the back of Kim's head. He fell to the floor fading out if consciousness.
"Oh god no, what have I done" Fizzy screamed rubbing the back of her head. "Oh god I did this!" She reached down trying to revive him.
Kim groggily opened his eyes "you have to fly us back..." He fainted.
She ran to the controls "shuttle pod to Wish-Seeker" yet nothing but static.
"Computer, can we use automatic pilot?"
The systems computer announced in its emotionless voice "negative: autopilot down".
She burst out into tears. "I come all this way and I'm still a failure! And now I'm going to get Kim killed". She looked out of the window as space spun around her. In the distance she could see Free World. Technically her home and yet she had never really had a home.
She felt hopelessness fill her. She banged her fists on the computer system which started flicking through various files. Slowly the damaged system stuttered between two files. Her eyes widened. One was the Wish-Seeker itself. The other she could hardly believe. It was Vena Lovejoy. Her mother. The two images blurred into one and she whispered to herself "...home". She took the controls in her hands, a look of determination in her face. And pulled.
Onboard the Wish-Seeker the crew scanned the area in desperation. The couldn't locate the crafts beacon, let alone transport the two back. They had been overdue by an hour and Lt. Sarina-Lee was concerned.
"Lieutenant, we have the craft on scanners. It's coming in at a break neck speed it's auto pilot must be down from the hit". Sarina nodded to the officer and turned back to him "beam them both to the bridge then tractor the shuttle on board for repairs.
Later, medical bay.
"Ensign Lovejoy, thank you for your courage. You saved the captain and this mission with your bravery piloting the shuttle through an asteroid belt unaided".
Fizzy barely made eye contact with Sarina-Lee as she spoke. Then finally she whispered: "it was my fault. I banged my head and the shuttle..."
"The shuttle was hit by another asteroid. Whatever happened onboard had nothing to do with it". Fizzy's eyes lit up with relief.
Kim slowly sat up smiling "seems you got us both home eh Ensign?" He nodded "good work".
Fizzy smiled and whispered to herself "home..."
Across the room a beeping signalled a call from Free World. Sarina answered it seeing the face of Seven. "Hello Sarina, it's good to see you. Cal told me you had something to report?"
Sarina glanced over to Fizzy, smiling as she tended to her captain. "Yes sir just to report... The test flight was a success. I think the shuttle craft will be right at home"

Wishseeker Episode 1: Wish Upon a Moon.
Episode 1: Wish upon a moon.
From here Free World seemed so small. It's surface seemed almost exclusively blue with only occasional pockets of green or brown where the island nations sat. In orbit the new star base glistened, so sparkling and new. Initially both it and the Free World a Fleet had been a closely guarded secret with only the leaders of the four Nations and a few others fully aware of its scope. Most of the work had been done by droids enabling the secrecy however over time more input was needed and soon everyone knew.
Kim, only son of Philip and Kaya Temp'elar looked across the orbiting stations surface from his place on the Dark Moon Station. The space base on Dark Moon was no secret. It had been in operation for several months now. However since he and his sister, Sarina Lee had arrived to meet Tony Stark it had steadily grown in notoriety. Even more impressive it had seemed to develop at a remarkable rate and was now likened to a massive nation of its own.
"Quite the view isn't it Mr. Temp'elar". Kim turned to see the handsome yet cheeky features of Tony Stark. He gave a nod "indeed it is. Tell me, are all the ships of the fleet housed in that star base or are some of them docked her on Dark Moon?" Tony Stark gave a smile as if he liked the question itself "oh Dark Moon itself has plenty of its own secrets. But I know for a fact that the ship you will be commanding will be docking here in the next few moments. So why don't you kick back and await her arrival".
Across the other side of Dark Moon base Sarina Lee sat looking to the monitor at the image of her fathers face. His expressions mixed between pride and anxiety. "Father, you don't need to worry. Our Grandfather himself inspected the design and construction of this ship and I know full well you and Mother have checked it over a million times". King Philip nodded with a slight chuckle "I know without a doubt that the ship Is a fine vessel. I also know that you and your brother have put together a fine crew. My concerns are about what's out there, in the deep space we have never explored. Six years is a long time". She nodded in agreement "I know father, and I will miss you both, not to mention Lucinda and the rest of the family. But that unknown is exactly what we will be exploring. When the Free World Fleet reaches its fullest potential, we will be pioneers". Philip made not attempt to hide the love and pride in his face "your mother and I are so proud of you both. Just come home to us".
Outside Dark Moon's shields a silent eruption of blue light was followed by the sudden arrival of the newly christened ship of Free World's developing fleet. It's silver appearance was in contrast to the blue energy filling its engines. From his window in the observation bay Kim hit the communicator switching it to loudspeaker "Ladies and gentlemen, this is Captain Kim Temp'elar. I am proud to announce the arrival of our first space ready ship. "The Wishseeker".
Those in authority at Dark Moon gathered together in the observation room of Dark Moon to watch the Wishseeker's approach. Kim and Sarina Lee stood with Tony Stark and various other support staff that operated the guidance systems. "Sir the Wishseeker is hailing us" came the voice of one of the crew. Kim nodded to Tony Stark and stepped forward "on screen".
The screen that sat at the front of the dome shaped room lit up and showed the face of Serafelle Temp'elar. The headmistress of Blackthorn Academy she had trained both Kim and Sarina Lee and had personally recommended them for the Free World Fleet project. "Good afternoon Dark Moon, this is Captain Serafelle of the Wishseeker. Do I have permission to dock?" A round of applause erupted. Waiting for it to subside Tony Stark gave a smile "Oh I'm sure we can find a place in our busy schedule for you somewhere!"
Kim watched on as his sister and aunty embraced each other. He too gave her a warm hug "it's good to see you again aunty Sera. Uncle Seven isn't keeping you too busy I hope?" She laughed aloud "it's the academy that keeps me busy. Now that we are training people for the fleet also the intakes are growing and work load increasing. But I wouldn't have it any other way". Kim knew that was true "so tell me, the Wishseeker... How is she?" Sarina Lee shook her head "he is very particular about wanting to know every aspect of his new ship. Me, I'll stick to the science. It's what I'm good at". Sera gave both of them a warm look. "She handles like a dream. Your crew include some of Free World's best including security officers straight from Camelot".
As Kim listened to her words another took in the information. Her ears tweaked at the mention of the Knights of Camelot. She was Darth Ayame and crouched in the vents above the docking bay where Kim and Sera stood she felt quite the internal battle. Her mission involved never being seen. Leaving no trace. But she wanted so badly to strike out at Camelot's representatives here. "The mission comes first" she whispered to herself turning the hatred inward to herself keeping it in reserve like a battery to fuel her eventual revenge. She knew in time the dark side would grant her revenge if it was the will of the force. If not, she would bend the force to her will anyway. With a focused breath she continued through the ventilation and onto the Wishseeker.
Mittens didn't like it in space. Everything felt just a little off. These humanoid folk including her family seemed oblivious to all the subtle differences. But not her. At least the Wishseeker had comfortable beds she thought, but overall she would be glad to get back to Calcifer and the estate. Suddenly she found herself distracted from her thoughts. A smell, and not someone she recognised.
Kim and Serina-Lee walked through the ship in their new uniforms. Glistening blue and grey panels and computer screens fitted along the light silver and white walls. It was clearly a ship designed with class in mind as well as efficiency. "So Captain, are you happy with our new ship?" Kim found it strange hearing his sister refer to him like that, although he new she was right. "I think so commander, but it will take some time to get used to life on board a star ship". From down the corridor came the voice of chief of security and Knight of Camelot Alexandra "that's why our first few missions will take us to local planets and moons Captain. May not be too exciting but it will be a good trial run". Kim turned to her with a smile "it's good to see you, thank you for accepting my offer to join the...".
An explosion shook the ship, knocking the siblings and the knight to the floor. Sarina-Lee looked to the window of the ship noting with relief that the emergency shields had kicked in over the effected area. Alarms rang out and in a heartbeat Kim was tapping furiously at the wall mounted computer system. "It's down in empty storage bay" he said running down the corridor to the turbo lift "Commander Temp'elar your with me" his sister reacted with a nod and followed him instantly "Alexandra, get everyone off the ship but do not let anyone leave the docking bay of Dark Moon Base, just incase this is foul play".
The alarm systems were giving her a headache, but despite this irritation Mittens wasn't about to let the intruder ruin her families new ship. She ran through the empty corridors looking for help and as the turbo lift door opened saw it, in the form of Kim and Sarina Lee. She let out her loudest hiss desperate to get their attention. "Mittens! Let's get you safe" said Sarina Lee leaning down to pick her up. Mittens leapt back leaving her shocked. Mittens turned running towards one of the bay doors. "I think she is leading us to it!" Noted Kim and with the alarms still ringing followed the small cat.
"Storage bay 2. It's taken some damage to the outer hull and the pressure is not going to be held back by the force field for long, we haven't even calibrated them yet". Sarina nodded at her brothers words. If the shield fell the whole ship would take serious structural damage. With Kim tapping furiously at the computer screen trying to strengthen the shields Sarina Lee reached for the com system "Dark Moon Base, we can't ensure the safety of the ship. We recommend once everyone is off detach from us or the base my take damage".
On the Bridge Sera stood in horror "no..." She whispered. Tony Stark shook his head "separate the ship from the base". Then suddenly he stood up and marched to the door. "Where are you going?" Asked Sera. "I'm going to save the fucking day".
From outside there was no sign of obvious damage. The Wishseeker was a sleek and beautiful design and in the vacuum of space, with no oxygen to fuel flames only a few pieces of the ships outer hull signalled any evidence of the explosion. The force field itself was invisible from any distance with only a faint flicker of blue visible once closer. Inside the ship Kim wasn't anything like the same picture of calm. With frustration he banged on the computer. "Commander, you need to get of the ship. Use one if the shuttles in the other bay and get out. This bay door will hold a few minutes". She turned picking up a far more willing Mittens "all due respect sir but I'm not leaving you!"
Kim's face turned firm "that's an order! I may be able to save the ship, but if not I won't have you two dying here!"
"Well it's an order I won't follow! Our family have fought in wars, our sister the new Queen has proven herself a hero. We finally have a chance to show we are Temp'elar's and that we can make our family proud! I won't leave you here alone to face this. SIR!"
Kim smiled and leant in holding her "I love you sis" he stood back "your so going on report for disobeying a direct order!"
Quickly he turned back to the screen. The force field trembled and shut down. Inside the bay the creaking of metal could be heard. "It won't hold long" Kim added as he tried desperately to redirect power. He wiped sweat from his brow and continued trying everything he could "why are these things not working?" He couldn't understand. None of the other systems would allow him to transfer power. "It's over guys. I'm so..."
Then the shield shot back up. "Computer? Whats happened?"
The digital voice replied "external power source has rebooted shields at 500% capacity".
Kim switched to external cameras. In a slightly glitched image a man in a suit of gold and red armour gave a thumbs up to the camera and then flew back to Dark Moon. Tony Stark... Iron man, had saved the day.
Three weeks later...
Kim and Sarina Lee stood before the assembled council of Free World. Delegates from Camelot, Japan, Dragonia and Blackthorn sat before them. Finally Seven, flanked by Sera and a tall lanky male know as the Doctor spoke. "Following full investigations it would appear that one of the conductors in the storage bay was faulty and triggered a contained explosion. Both of you acted bravely to stay and try to save the ship". He gave them both a look of pride, glancing briefly to Philip and Kaya. Their parents.
Seven continued "your attempts to transfer energy to the shields were the perfect response however it would seem the systems had not yet been fully integrated to those bays yet a matter that has since been rectified by Mr Stark, who's brave rescue managed to save the ship. He and I along with the doctor here have checked all systems and the repairs are completed the ship is now functioning perfectly and I'm pleased to confirm your mission into deep space is set to go ahead".
The two smiled clearly, making no attempt to hide there joy. Finally Kim spoke up "thank you sir, and our thanks to Mr Stark and Mittens also for aiding us".
The meeting ended and seven, Sera and The Doctor walked to a separate meeting room. The doctor scanned the room with a sonic screwdriver "all clear" he said. Seven's face turned sour. "I don't like this. We know it was sabotage and we have a narrow list of suspects. I am not convinced acting like we found no evidence of foul play is helpful". The Doctor nodded "I know I know, but the ship is safe now, no more tampering, even my Tardis gave her the all clear. It wasn't set up to destroy the ship. It was for another reason we have yet to see and if we tip our hand we may not find out what". Seven glanced at his sister who nodded and then returned his gaze to the doctor. "Okay, but scan the Wishseeker until it leaves the system so we know it's safe. Now... I think it's time you introduce me to our new friend. This...Jedi".
From the window bays all over dark moon eyes watched as the Wishseeker began to manoeuvre into position. On board Captain Kim Temp'elar scanned his bridge, his crew. "Take us out, and plot a course" he glanced to his sister "let's see what's out there. Engage!"
As the silver ship burst into a blur of colour speeding away in a second, Tony Stark stood in his private chambers, the lights dimmed and watched. "Do you think they suspect foul play Lord Stark?" Came the voice of Darth Ayame.
"It doesn't matter. They may suspect you, Randolf, Zero. Even Lord a raptor himself. But to them I saved the day yet again. By the time they know that I am preparing the Dark Moon to stand apart from Free World and declare our war on their world, it will be far too late".

Kingdom Dragonia/Osiris Family Event- Founding of Dragonia
Anubis Osiris: Dogs and Dragons.
(The following takes place during Anubis's reign as Emperor of HOS).
The sun shone down on the Osiris mansion with an intensity that reminded Anubis of his youth in Ancient Egypt. Standing on the balcony, Anubis looked out over the lush green lands surrounding his home. From his arms came a gurgling sound as his young son Kafelle slowly began to wake. Already behind him he could her the pattering of tiny footsteps as Kafelle's sister Ambrosia, who had now embraced her nickname 'Ambie' to the level that she stone faced refused to acknowledge her full name, came charging up the stairs.
Anubis laughed to himself looking down to his baby son "it's like she can just sense that you are awake isn't it my boy?"
The tranquil scene of a few seconds earlier ended as his little girl came barging into the room with the grace and elegance of a rhino on roller skates.
"Daaaaaaddy! Is he? He awake? Is he!?" She shouted out her words falling over themselves. Anubis laughed to himself his eyes filled with love and amusement. "Well if he wasn't before he is now isn't he?"
He knelt down handing Kafelle to his big sister, with their nanny following Anbie into the room a little out of breath. Anubis approached her whispering. "I'll be gone for the day, visiting an old friend. I'm not expecting any complications but if their are any you know how to reach me". He turned back, seeing his children together and smiled warmly.
The journey was long, but Anubis relished in the solitude. He had visited this place on many occasions and yet normally it was at his own will. This time he had been summoned. As he materialised form the sand that he had allowed the winds to carry, he looked up at the dark temple, surrounded by overgrown bush and a damp smell that filled his nostrils. The temple was on no map. It was not to be found on foot or by sight. It was visible and accessible to only those that its creator deemed welcome. Anubis was usually welcome, however today he was required.
Anubis walked up the steps, his eyes glancing down to the moat that surrounded it. This feature looked unusual in such an otherwise Egyptian themed design. His mind cast back to his children, for good reason. He mused how strange that they would find it that anyone could summon him on demand. But then they did not know the importance of the entity within. They had never met, Sobek.
As he stepped into the temple, Anubis shifted into his true form, the large imposing Jackel headed God of the underworld. And yet even in this form, arriving into a dark chamber, he dropped to one knee. "Lord Sobek, I heard your call. Is she safe... Is my daughter...".
He was quickly cut off by a low guttural hissing sound that would have sent chills through any mortal soul. But Anubis knew the language, older even than he himself. "Arise my friend. You need never kneel before me or anyone".
Anubis stood slowly "forgive me old friend, I have learnt a great deal from the humans. The mortals. Humility and respect is something they have taught me to value". He couldn't see much of Sobek in the darkness, just a dark green tail slithering back into the shadows and two piercing red eyes. "Sera... Is she...".
"Your daughter is safe. And she will remain that way as long as all but we believe she is dead. Soon we will free her from her captors but that is not why you were called".
Anubis let out a sigh of relief. Serafelle, born to he and his wife Vandella had been taken at birth, her soul forced into another body. Most believed her dead but as God of the underworld Anubis knew her to be alive. Her soul had not joined those that lay beneath his protection. As God of fertility and life, Sobek could see what he could not and watched over her whilst they planned to save her. But if word reached her captors that her survival was known she would have truly been murdered.
The shadows opened slightly and the massive and ancient Reptile headed God Sobek stepped out from the shadows. "You are here because I need your help, my friend. As I have helped protect your children I need your help in protecting mine".
Anubis was stunned. He did not know of any children. He stepped closer to Sobek. He could see why the ancient Egyptians had thought him to be a crocodile. The biggest reptile they had seen swam the Nile and to them he must have seemed similar. But he was something more ancient, something far more special.
"My friend, I suspect you are not referring to some small Cubs that dwell in those shadows. Nothing has ever been so simple with you" Anubis said with a smile. Who are these children of which you speak?"
Stepping fully out of the shadows the massive creature hid a sadness among the fierce wisdom in his eyes "The Ormr... Orochi". Despite The knowledge Anubis possessed Sobek could see that he did not understand. "What is the word they use... Dragons".
Anubis eyes fell wide open "Dragons? You are their creator? They originate from your flesh?"
"From my flesh, my blood. Mixed with magics of a sort. They were a beautiful legacy that I left to protect over the mortals from the dangers of the demon kind and others. Yet the world changes. The mortals have hunted them to near extinction on one side of the globe whilst trying to create them in their own image elsewhere". A tear fell along his dark scaled cheek. "I may be immortal Anubis, but I never longer know this world. I need you to find the land in which I created them, built half a world from here but with the sand of Egypt and the water of the Nile. I need you to find and liberate Dragonia".
Anubis nodded and moved to turn away before glancing back. "Why me Sobek. You have many who follow you, serve you. Why am I the one that will save your children?"
Sobeks large teeth showed in what would have been in a human a knowing grin. "Actually my old friend, your not. But the one who is... The Golden Dragon...i see them in your smile. I hear them in your thoughts. And when they are ready you will unlock the dragon within them. Give them this".
Anubis took the small golden disk. When he looked up Sobek returned to the shadows. Anubis knew that this meant the discussion was over. "Good bye old friend" he whispered and left the temple.
For months Anubis searched and did indeed find what remained of Dragonia. He kept it guarded but knew not what to do with it. Despite his intensive studies he could not discover the golden dragon in any text or across the globe. Feeling frustration he paced the estate until he walked past his study, seeing the door open. He walked in confused and looked to the desk top. His eyes widened in shock. Where the golden disk had lay, instead lay a strange dragon cuff that looked is if to fit around an Adult ear.
He burst out of his study and towards a nearby guard. "Who has been in my study!" The guard shook, clearly rattled. "My lord I'm sorry I couldn't stop her she just went in".
"Who?" And at once he knew who the golden Dragon was.
Twenty years later
Anubis looked out of the temple Windows looking out over the thriving land of Kingdom Dragonia. Dragons lived in harmony along side humans and other species that had decided to live under the Dragon code of honour and respect for life. "You would be so proud of what your children have become Sobek" he said quietly. "Now it is time for us to share that pride together".
He heard the voice of his daughter Lady Ambrosia, ruler if Dragonia as she approached him. "Daddy, you wanted to see me?"
He smiled "always. But today it is time to give you a gift. A gift from a very old friend of mine". He handed her the ear cuff, which resonated in her hand. He took it from her palm and placed it onto her ear. "For too long you have ruled a people you did not know. But now you will".
Ambrosia looked perplexed then her eyes opened wide. Her arms began to change, taking a golden hue. Scales formed. She looked at first scarred but her fathers smile comforted her. "What's happening daddy?"
Anubis stepped back and knelt on one knee. "You are the Golden Dragon. And now nothing less than life itself flows through you".
The streets fell quiet as a roar both terrifying and beautiful tore through Dragonia and bursting through the sky the Golden Dragon flew for the first time. Both ancient and new. The cheers rang through the streets the dragons took flight, with Dagger, Jacinda and Mahleia falling in behind her. Swarms of other Dragons took to the sky's joining their dance whilst across the globe others such as Philip and Lucinda Temp'elar felt the shift and felt their inner dragon roar in joy.
And stood looking out across it all Anubis watched his daughter fly into the distance, the faint pattering of her wings still no different in his mind to the faint pattering of her footsteps as a child. "Our children are free Sobek" he turned to see Sera behind him smiling, watching her sister in flight. "All of them".

Temp'elar Family Event: Seven Meets Luna.
Temp'elar Family Event: Seven Meets Luna.
Into the Light.
Dear diary
Where to begin? I suppose by acknowledging that I don't normally write in a diary. At least I Don't think I do. I guess that could be a lie. Either way it's been such a roller coaster the last few months that I need to get things down on paper. Maybe that will help me make sense of it. Or at least help me know if I've just done the right thing or not.
Let's start by setting the scene. A few months ago I was found with no memory, a fully grown man covered in blood but not a scratch on me. Just a tattoo of a number Seven on my inner forearm. It was a rough ride but it turns out that I'm immortal. That I am host to the Seven Sins. And that for some reason this isn't the first time my memory was wiped.
I know right, that's a hell of a lot to take in. And yet strangely during all that writing a diary was not my first thought. Somehow I came through all that remarkably well. What prompted this entry was a little trip I took across land to clear my head a little (ironically) and who I met whilst doing so.
After severaI days travel I eventually found myself at a busy market a few towns away from the home of the Viking Nation. A few things happened along the way there but nothing that is important with regards to this story except for knowing that by the time I got there my patience was a little tested. Now these markets are often a bit rough. You can buy anything for a price, indeed anyone. I knew that. Hell I wasn't in any place to judge other cultures. But I did. And jeez did I do it in style.
It was around midday when I came to a fat man with thinning hair and a large unkempt beard. The scent of cider and sweat hung around him with such potency that it made my eyes water. Now I'm not one to judge people by there appearance. Or in this case smell. But his nature was no more pleasant than the picture I have painted. He was a slave runner, and one that delved into the most unacceptable levels.
"Hey sir! You look like a man of taste. I have something special for your kind!"
Yes, I remember his words like one would remember being stabbed. He lifted the covers on a decent sized cage and my heart sank. I had to save her.
It's funny. As I'm writing this even now a couple of months later I can feel my blood boil. My hands shaking. But anyway, focus. Beneath the sheet, a damp and dirty piece of material, inside the cage crouched a small blue haired female Neko.
Now I should clarify. A Neko is a human like creature in appearance. Usually smaller, a fully grown adult is often the size of a teenage human. They also sport cat like ears and tail and often have abilities that seem like magic though these only manifest in some Neko's and only with training.
I said she crouched. In truth though I hate to even picture it, she coward. She looked terrified and while I couldn't say for certain if he had hurt her he had certainly not cared for her. I guessed her to be around sixteen though I know Neko's age differently. Either way when he poked her with a stick through the cage as if prompting her to perform for my benefit I snapped.
They say sadness and anger are connected as emotions. That certainly fit in that moment as my heart broke when I saw her. His neck almost broke a few seconds later when I lunged forward pinning him to the wall. Now, for future reference, should my memory again fail these markets are policed by privately hired guards. Any trouble and they step in. I would like to say it was my alertness to danger that changed my course of action. But it wasn't. It was the squealing sound from the young Neko. A sound of fear. Fear of me and my action.
Now this is where it began. This is where my decision to do what I did formed. If I had fought I could have kill the guards, but they were innocent within there culture. Also I could get arrested and never find the loathsome man or the Neko again. So I smiled. I reached into my pocket and forced a pocket of solid gold coins into his chest. I bought her and advised him that I was also buying his spot in the market. If I ever saw him selling again, I would deal with him. Frankly the bastard was so happy at his massive profit he seemed okay with being threatened and walked away leaving his stall behind.
The journey home wasn't important. What is important is that I had a problem and I knew it. The Neko had been raised as property. Raised without independence or rights. I thought over and over again of ways I could free her and every conceivable idea led to her either being recaptured, killed or taken advantage of. Even when I mentioned the idea of freedom I could see her seize up.
I tried though, God knows I did. I told her she could leave and be free but the poor creature had no understanding of the world and even less education. I told her she could stay and it would be her choice. But these words, choice. Freedom. They meant nothing to her. She couldn't be free. And I most certainly could not ever have a slave.
What had I expected though? I may have little personal memory but I knew she wouldn't be able to function! What did I think would happen? I felt so stupid until an idea came to me. And God forgive me I guess I won't know for a while if I made the right choice.
I told her she was my pet. That I was her Master. In fairness the look of confusion, distress and distrust she had until then sported, faded. She looked... I want to say curious. She later told me she had seen people in the market with pets. That whilst they belonged to their owners they were treated with love and care.
So that's what she became. She became my pet. Luna, the little blue haired Neko girl from the market. I guess we will see if I made the right choice in time, and either way I'll have to live with the consequences. Either way, I hope I have saved her.
Seven
Dear diary,
Well it's been a long time old friend! Shockingly it's been around six years since I wrote in you, the weeks and months following my last entry were busy and then suddenly you were lost! It wouldn't surprise me if Luna had hidden you, but fortunately back then she couldn't read! I say back then because she has come so far.
Reading back it's strange to remember my anxiety. Luna didn't just manage, she thrived! She learnt faster than any human and whilst she still calls herself my pet and I her Master, she soon became the foundation of my family, the Temp'elar family.
So much has happened for her since then, but that's not my story to tell. What is mine to tell however is an amendment to my last entry. You see I didn't save Luna. She saved me.

Temp'elar Family Story: Remembering.
Temp'elar Family Story: Remembering.
The Temp’elar estate looked peaceful in the early morning sun, with not a sound to be heard. However despite the outside image, within as always within family life there was mischief. Calcifer alongside the blue haired Neko Luna, crept into the attic. Seven, head of the family and Calcifer’s father had asked that nobody venture up there, filled as it was with boxes still unpacked since the families move from the old kingdom. However both Luna and Calcifer were to curious to resist, and frankly both were a bad influence on each other. Creeping up the small wooden steps Cal looked back with his finger to his lips "Be as quiet as you can Luna. Dad’s room is just down the corridor. And if we wake Mizzy there is no way she won’t wake him up!" Calcifer referred to his wife who still lay in bed asleep. Luna giggled, her tail wiggling in excitement and nodded. Calcifer opened the hatch, which wasn’t locked. Seven may have asked them to stay out, but no part of the estate was off limits to anyone in the family, except there private rooms. The attic was quiet ad dark, aside from a small degree of light shining through the small window. Luna’s big bright eyes popped over the entrance looking around inside "Wow Cal, there are so many boxes". Cal lifted her up then began creeping around carefully "some of these boxes must be hundreds of years old". Suddenly both jumped as they heard a loud excited voice shout out "LOOK AT ALL THIS STUFF!" Luna ran over to the blond giddy figure of Mizzy pushing her finger over her lips. Cal ran over "Mizzy, be quiet! If Dad finds us up here he will kick our asses!". "Yes I will" came the voice from the ladder. All three turned around with a sheepish smile to see the now standing figure of Seven a stern grin on his face. The two girls instantly turned pointing to Cal "it was his idea!" Cal did a standard face palm and mumbled "you two are such asses". Seven rolled his eyes and gestured to the ladder with all three then laughing and running to the ladder and down stairs. Mizzy bounced against one of the boxes, knocking it over as the three vanished back into the estate. Seven chuckled. Just another day in the Temp’elar family he thought as he reached down to pick up the box. From its top a small leather bound book fell out and caught his eye. It looked somehow familiar ad yet he had not seen it before. But he had.
Seven sat down on the wooden floor opening the book and noticed instantly, that it was in his handwriting. The dates were from well over two hundred years ago written atop every couple of pages. It was a journal. Since he had arrived at the old kingdom Seven had tried to fill in the many hundreds of years gaps in his memory. The box seemed to contain items that had been found and placed with his belongings over the years, but Seven had never been told about there discovery. So much confusion during the Viking war, the people that had discovered them had likely died before telling him. He sighed slightly and looked through it but noted that much of it was faded. He saw a description of a women, tall and beautiful with dark hair. From the words he could piece together she seemed to have been someone he had trusted. Suddenly he was woken from his reading by the sound of Bri, his former lover shouting through the house "Cal! Get back here!" he rolled his eyes. Sera, his sister could be heard laughing as the playful chaos began again. Seven brought the book down and took it to his room before joining the others downstairs.
Later that evening Sera answered the door greeting the arriving Kaya, her niece, along with her husband Philip. Behind them she saw the newest family member, their daughter Lucinda. Philip smiled "it’s so good to be back home, hello Sera" he lent in hugging her as they entered. Seven heard there arrival and came to the door noting two other figures in the distance behind them. One was Cal who had ventured into the town to bring back his own daughter, Sin. Seven waved over hugging each arriving family member before gesturing them each to the dining room. The family meal was always something he enjoyed and today was no different. And yet this time, Seven felt a absence that he had never before. The thought stayed with him all evening and that night as he lay in his bed it remained. As he closed his eyes he wondered why.
Seven stood on a lake. His bare feet could feel the water splashing between his toes. There was a gentle wind that flicked through his hair. He glanced around in mild confusion but a voice calling out brought him to focus "Hello Seven, it’s been a long time". He looked at the beautiful face before him. The dark hair flicked over her face and Seven realised that somewhere in his mind he had known her. The women from the journal. He knew it was just a dream, but it was a welcome one. "I don’t remember you, but I knew you didn’t I? Who are you? Were we related?" his words seemed to stumble. But with a gentle calmness she floated closer "Seven my dear, my name is Martha. And yes we were family. If the name existed back then I guess I would have been called Martha Temp’elar" she shook her head smiling warmly "But titles like sister, wife, daughter and mother…they don’t matter. All that matters is that I was family then and I am family now". Sevens head dropped "I… wish I could remember you". She stroked his hair softly "Remembering wouldn’t change a thing. I am from a long time ago, before almost all of your current family. But the family you have now. All of them are good and warm people and while they do not know me I love them and look over them. The Temp’elar guardian angel". He smiled and felt a warmth as the beauty of the dream faded away slowly "Martha" he asked "you said almost…who else knew you?". She smiled and a slight tear came to her eye as she leant in "My beloved Sera, your sister. Tell her for me.." she leant in ad whispered Seven nodded and woke.
As the day progressed Seven put the dream behind him. The journal had gotten to him he assumed but he would finish reading it later. The day passed and Seven enjoyed seeing the whole family together. Kaya, Philip and Lucinda made their way back to their home in japan, while Cal, Mizzy, Sin and Luna went down to the Club in Blackthorn. Bri saw seven looking out of the window watching them leave "Hey it’s been nice having everyone together hasn’t it". Seven nodded "Yeah, everyone". He turned smiling and made his way upstairs. In his room he picked up the journal and looked down as a small envelope fell to the ground. Seven looked down confused and picked it up, opening it. His eyes opened wide I shock. The guardian angel. She was no dream, she was real. Seven remembered the message and ran to Sera’s room. He swung the door open and ran to her, smiling his eyes tearing slightly. She looked confused "Seven are you okay hun?" He nodded "Better than alright… I have a message for you from someone from our past". He put an arm around her and leant in "Martha asked me to tell you something…something I have only just remembered". Her eyes seemed to fill with tears of happy memories instantly at the name. Seven spoke carefully, remembering the words "She said to tell you … not to think about how she passed away, nor that she passed way. She said that she loves you now as much as she always had. That she is proud of you and will always look over you and your family". He bit his lip and lowered his head "She said one more thing. She wanted to say for all you did for her… thank you". Seven stood and made his way to the door "She was one of us wasn’t she?". Sera nodded "She still is". Seven nodded, he may not remember her. But he would never ever forget her.

Temp'elar Family Event: The Funeral of Melissa Temp'elar/LaMara.
Temp'elar Family Event: The Funeral of Melissa Temp'elar/LaMara.
The silence was as deafening as it was peaceful. Even the customary bird song in the trees around the memorial garden seemed to have faded into silence out of respect. The grounds of the free world memorial gardens were covered in the lushest green grass with the ocean in the distance perhaps the only movement due to the lack of breeze.
In these hallowed grounds many well famous and treasured people had been laid to rest. King Agnar of the Viking Nation. Members of the Temp'elar family. Memorials for the genie sisters who had sacrificed there lives to save others. And today one more loved one would be laid to rest. And as seven stood looking over the casket as it was lowered into the ground, he remembered her. His sister Melissa.
Melissa had been one if the first to accept Seven when he arrived at the old kingdom, and growing very close they had stayed in touch even after Seven had left to form his own destiny. Melissa's bind with him had been so strong that she had for a time left the old kingdom and lived in Blackthorn a Town, joining Sevens new family. Either side of Seven stood his son, Calcifer and Luna. Both among the longer standing family members able to remember Melissa's time with the family.
Calcifer looked across his father to the forlorn looking Luna. Stepping around his father he put his hand on her shoulder. Cal had been very young when his aunty had been around there family home and still young when she had chosen to return to her older home and yet he remembered her well and remembered her as a very kind and sweet women. Despite being just a teenager she always treated him with respect, something he had never forgotten.
As the coffin settled and the dirt began to pile up, each of the temp'elars and others filling it the God Anubis Osiris stood at the head of the grave looking down. He had once been Emperor over Melissa. She had struck him always as a delicate flower in a jungle if chaos and disorder. Someone he could rely on and trust. Someone who did the right thing and never hurt another. "I shall watch over you in the afterlife dear Melissa" he whispered.
Alongside Anubis as usual was his daughter, Ambrosia. A half sister to Melissa Ambrosia looked on in sorrow. She handed her father a rose taking one if her own and the two stepped forward placing one on her grave.
The ceremony complete seven stepped forward "Melissa has been and always will be my family. My sister. In the time I can remember she has always had a kind word and a kind smile for me and all of us" he coughed slightly "while most would never know it, she has helped me save this world and none of us would be alive here today if not for her. I've shared many adventures with her. Enjoyed many fun times. But the greatest moment I will ever have experienced with her was the first time she called me brother" he lowered his flower onto her grave. "She may have lived in other places, but now she is back in free world, now she is home".
The crowd gathered around fell silent in memory of a beautiful person. Inside and out.

JkotoanT Event: Crowning Lucinda.
JkotoanT Event: Crowning Lucinda.
King Philip walked through the halls of the palace and down towards the chambers of his daughter Lucinda. While he and his wife had other children, none had embraced and defended the kingdom and culture of Japan in all of its times and periods more than Lucinda. The first in the temp'elar family line to be born a pure blood Dragon, Philip had long considered it an omen that she was destined for great things and so when his beloved wife Kaya had needed to step down Lucinda was the only one he truly considered to be the Queen in Kaya's absence. Opening the door to Lucinda's chambers he coughed lightly, getting her attention "my dear. It is time".
The Japanese kingdom of old and new times had always been ruled by a female. A male had usually ruled alongside from when Queen Kury had founded it and then passed on the role to Queen Kaya with Kury becoming General of the kingdoms armies. Now a new Queen would continue that fine tradition. Philip moved out before her into the hall where special guests from all across Japan and further around Free World came to show there respects. Among the most honoured of guests were royalty from Camelot and it's surrounding kingdoms. Queen Morgan and Queen Regina were flanked by a selection of Camelot's knights, including Seven and Calcifer Temp'elar of Philips own family, and Jake and Lane, two of the younger knights.
Across the room in another honoured guest section sat Lady Ambrosia of Dragonia along with her guard Dagger and Daggers sister, Jacinda. Jacinda had arrived sought out her long time friend Lucinda earlier on and wished her well in the event, hugging her and even now uttering a silent prayer to bless her in this special day.The Temp'elar family were of course present to witness there youngest member become a Queen and all of Japan's Lords and Ladies were present, including the unusual Lord Darwin and the new General of the kingdoms armies, Kitana. Both had arrived early bringing gifts from there own parts of Japan keen to add a special touch to the event. The other children of Philip and Kaya, Kim and Sarina Lee sat among the people keen to mingle with them.
Guests from Blackthorn Town, the home of Lucinda, Philip and kaya's family sat among the crowd if friendly faces adding to the joy. Among the first to arrive had been River, the mermaid from the waters near Bkackthorn who had brought a selection of sea food as a tribute to the new Queen. Ruby, Cinder and the Hattress arrived a little later sitting among the people of blackthorn but not before they had made a good impression on the people of Japan with there charm, wit and beauty. Seven, though sat with the Camelot contingent as a knight had been so proud to see so many of his town represent it at this event. He cast a glance over and noted Heather sat towards the front a long time friend if his giving her a nod. Other members of the to be Queens family sat looking on in anticipation, with mizzy, Brianna, Luna, Sera and even the feline Mittens anxiously awaiting the party to come.
Finally the crowd were gently encouraged into silence as subtle music introduced the King, Philip Temp'elar. "Special honoured guests. Family, friends. Today we gather for a special event. As you know my beloved wife and our friend and Queen, Kaya is currently away from the kingdom. In her absence we wish to continue the traditions if her kingdom and have a Queen rule our land. Please stand, for my Daughter, Lucinda". As one the guests rose as the beautiful Lucinda graced the room. But nobody was filled with more pride than her father. He leant in and whispered with a smile "don't worry I'll make this quick" he gave her a playful wink. Philip walked to a cushion were a small crown and small stone were placed. " this stone is a piece of the first rock that was broken to build this very temple. The core of our kingdom. From this day, until your mother sees fit to return home, you hold it and our kingdoms future..." He placed it in her hand "... In your palm". He turned lifting the crown and slowly lowered it to her head. Before turning to the crowd and giving a stern nod. All stood as one before Philip turned and knelt before His daughter and called out:
"Long live a Queen Lucinda, Queen of Japan!"
In unison they cried out "long live Queen Lucinda!" And threw hand fully of toes petals towards her as the music played and the crowd cheered. Standing at the back of the crowd until now unseen stood Eve of blackthorn. The moment the crowd cheered she cast an explosive selection of fireworks into the sky commemorating the special event.
Even more guests from all across free world arrived that evening for the festivities with celebrations going out long into the night. King Philip watched on as the whole world embraced the new Queen and felt special pride in what his daughter had, and would continue to achieve.
Written by King Philip and Seven. Dedicated to the writer behind Kaya.

Temp'elar Family Event: The death of Krauss.
Temp'elar Family Event: The death of Krauss.
Live when let die. Krauss Temp’elar woke with a sudden start, sweat dripping from his hot brow. The dreams had always haunted him but recently they had grown worse, more intense. Now when he woke from them he felt as if he was falling into a dream of reality rather than waking from one. His hands slid down over his body, his lack of a heartbeat the only thing that proved he was awake. Born dead Krauss had never fully understood why the entity of death had refused to take him. Why it had not allowed him the sweet embrace of that beautiful forever sleep he had caught a glimpse of and had teased him for all his adult life. Stepping from his simple wooden bed Krauss walked to the window of his cottage positioned on the grounds of the Temp’elar Estate. Ahead, stood the home of his family, bringing a smile to his lips. While he was very close to his all of his family he had chosen to live a simpler life, allowing him time to focus on his beliefs. Within an hour he was walking barefoot on the grass, feeling the morning dew slide between the toes of his bare feet. He couldn’t help but smile and as the sun began to reach up over the tree’s he felt something special, something unique. He felt alive. He couldn’t explain it, but something felt so right, so special. He could feel a tingle of excitement down his spine that caused him to shudder. His head turned left and right in confusion as like a child feeling his first hiccup he searched for the cause of this magical feeling. Then with a tear of joy he realised one thing. Today is the day he would die. “Is anyone in?” Krauss called out as he stepped into the Estate. His brother Calcifer stepped out from his room, a cigarette draped from his bottom lip “Hey Krauss” he replied “Dad is down in the town bud”. Cal gave a casual thumbs up before returning to his room. From below the upstairs balcony where Cal had stood, Philip, emerged and spoke “Don’t mind Cal, he is all focused on his music right now, is there something I can do to help?” Krauss smiled at his new brother in law and handed him a letter “Yes… could you pass this to my father when he returns?”. Philip gave a nod, a slightly puzzled look on his face as Krauss left the estate, not knowing it was for the last time. Krauss found that he knew where to go. He couldn’t explain it. It was simply as if this day was written, was destined to happen. He kept his eyes up, and even in the dark gloomy town of Blackthorn which most saw as a world of death and devastation he somehow saw beauty. Then he saw it. It all made sense. Before him the stood, ebbing and flowing like a river of the un-dead. They were the former residents of this town. The patients of the late Randolf Blackthorn. Zombies. They were not facing him, instead they all faced the gates of a small building. His task may have lacked a known aim but he still knew what he needed to do. Krauss walked towards the horde, stepping through them. Each one allowed him to walk passed, barely acknowledging him. While he had never had a pulse, he had never felt more dead. These creatures let him pass, let him walk through them for only one reason. They saw him as no different to them. As he reached the gate, climbing up the fence and over it he looked back at them with a smile of pity. He was different to them. Because by the days end he would be able to forever sleep. Seven returned to the Estate late following a major incident in the town. A young girl had become trapped in a small abandoned garage and surrounded by the un-dead. Her description of the event had been chaotic, but she described watching through the window as an angel, so blessed that even the monsters clawing for her blood would not risk touching him walked to her rescue. He had placed a hand on her shoulder and promised her that she would survive. The girls story continued explaining how he had unleashed a holy fire that sent the creatures to ash. Seven arriving late on the scene had seen that the reality had been that somehow he had used a hose to spray them with gasoline before walking out into the centre, and lighting a match burning them all instantly, and saving the girls life. The event had left them both shaken, and had Seven’s daughter asking what had happened. But it was only when Seven opened the letter handed to her by Philip that it finally became clear what had happened. It read simply: “ Father. All my beloved family. I have lived for this day. The day I forever sleep. Love Krauss”
