TO RID YOURSELF OF AN UNWANTED ADMIRER OR AN EX-LOVER

You will need:

  • a gray candle
  • a white candle

Timing:

Three nights, beginning on a Saturday

Method:

Set the candles close together – a couple of inches apart.

Light the gray candle that represents you, saying either mentally or vocally:

No more will you notice me
I am free
Surrounded by the mists of invisibility

Move the unlit white candle away from the gray, saying:

No longer desire me or seek connection
My rejection, though kindly, is clear
Find love and life new
The binding is through
And you shall no longer be near

Blow out the gray candle.

On night two, light the gray candle again, repeating the first set of words. Move the unit white candle further away from yours, repeating the second set of words.

Blow out the gray candle again.

On the third night, move the unlit white candle as far away as possible from the gray candle, saying:

Follow your own path in joy
No longer walking along mine

Light the white candle and let it burn all the way through. Once this is done, light the gray candle, saying:

May the mists of invisibility
Remain between us perpetually
As you follow your way and I follow mine

Extinguish the gray candle and dispose of it, and separately rid yourself of any of the remaining wax from the white candle.

9 easy-to-find ingredients every aspiring witch needs

  • Sugar is used primarily as an attracting agent in magic, “sweetening” people to your wishes, whether they be potential lovers or business customers.
    - In Practice: Use to sweeten a business and draw in more customers. Sprinkle a little sugar in front of the entrance to work in order to draw people in. Add cinnamon for a boost, as cinnamon is considered extremely lucky.
  • Mint can be used in your magical practice to make charms work faster, or to better prepare your mind and intentions to be aligned with the intentions of a charm. It can be used in a spray or sprinkle to increase the mental vibrations of a place, so putting it in a school or office is ideal.
    - In Practice: Mix a teaspoon of dried mint leaf in a cup of boiling water and let it come to room temperature. Add the cup of water to your hair as a rinse after you wash your hair and rinse it. When you rinse the mint tea out, make sure to scrub your scalp thoroughly. This will stimulate mental activity and remove dullness.
  • Rosemary got its name from the Latin Rosmarinus meaning“dew of the sea” and is considered to have powerful properties across a wide range of magical traditions, though it’s typically used for protection and cleansing rituals. It can be placed under pillows, in pockets, or secured in infant bedrooms to protect children from negative forces and energy.
    - In Practice: Keep a sprig of rosemary by your heart and it will always remain open.
  • Rosewater is a mild protective agent that can be used as a floor wash to eliminate heavy vibrations, making a home or ritual space more comfortable to live in. It is also known for its use in beauty tonics.
    - In Practice: Put six cups of rose petals in a saucepan and add four cups of water then bring to a boil. Let the mixture boil for 10–15 minutes. When it has cooled, pour the mixture through a strainer and into a sealable bottle for use in magic. Though fresh-picked roses and rainwater are ideal, using store-bought roses and clean tap water will also work. You can splash on a little rosewater whenever you are feeling down. It also acts as a magnet for loving vibes.
  • Garlic - The same healing properties that it has in medicine are useful in magic to remove negativity, and to purify thoughts and places.
    - In Practice: A quick and easy use for garlic is to burn the skins on a fire or on charcoal in order to keep money in your home. For a spell to eliminate negativity, add cloves of garlic to a bowl of vinegar. Leave overnight. If the garlic has turned dark purple or black, that means there was a lot of negative energy and you should do again with fresh garlic and vinegar for one more night. If it looks fine, then you do not have to redo it. Flush the vinegar an garlic cloves down toilet to dispose of them.
  • Sage is an herb of wisdom and healing and can be used in a variety of forms for magical practice. A simple tea made with a teaspoon of sage and a cup of boiling water can be added to a bath in order to destroy illusions and to resolve problems. It can also be added to a charm bag to make your expectations about a charm or spell to be more realistic.
    - In Practice: Cleanse the house with bundled sage and it will feel lighter, this gets rid of negative energy that has accumulated. You can also do this to yourself to give you a little clear out from a hectic day. sage is available at some magic retailers and craft supply stories. But if you cannot find it bundled, you can dry the sage sprigs yourself. They should be about six inches in length and completely dried when you bundled them with twine. For more complete instructions, you can visit this page for making small basic bundles.
  • Sandalwood is a very popular incense scent that is often sold as incense sticks; it can be found at places like a Michael’s craft store just as easily as at a magic shop. Sandalwood is believed to have protective properties and is used most often in spells and charms meant to banish negative forces in your life.
    - In Practice: When you are feeling blocked, braid three ribbons together, representing three things you feel blocked about. You can write them on the ribbon before you braid. Put the braid in your pocket and carry it with you for a full day to get your energy on it. Light some sandalwood incense and as you take in the scent, take out the braid and start undoing it. Really focus on the intention of these obstacles becoming uncrossed. When finished, take the ribbons to a crossroads or intersection and dispose of them. Leave three pennies for the spirits that open the roads as well.
  • Basil is a multipurpose herb with many potential uses in magic, and for bringing good fortune in money and in love. It is also known for its cleansing and lightening properties.
    - In Practice: Basil can be used for money, prosperity, and love workings. Steep like you would tea and then mop the floors with it or sprinkle a little on the floor and sweep it up.
  • Ginger is used to make spells come into fruition faster, as well as enhancing the spell. It is also used to enhance passion in relationships.
    - In Practice: Adding ginger to food can bring more passion to a relationship.

    Spell to Forget Someone

This spell is very effective on helping you forget the ex boyfriend that hurt you or family member that have done you wrong or even that friend that betrayed you. This spell does not consist on aiding magic to change you life, all it is meant to do is help you to change you mind and to suppress your thoughts and memories, and in doing so, theirs too.

You will need the following items for this spell:

    • 1 red candle
    • 2 white candles
    • 1 piece of paper with the person's full name written on it
    • Best done in the Waning Moon

Place the white candles left and right from the red candle. Light the red candle and then the two white from left to right. Set the paper aflame and chant:

    "As you leave my life,
    I leave behind my pain.
    As you turn to dust,
    So does all my hurt.
As I leave you in my past,
I leave with you my sorrow.
I burn they name _____________ so it shall be,
    Cast out of my memory.
Your memory erased from my mind,
No longer held by the constrains of time.
I accept this made manifest, So shall it be!"

Let the paper burn out in a *safe* container and blow away the ashes in a safe manner away from you. The spell is done. Blow out the candles and thank the gods and goddesses for aiding your cause.

    Pierced by ice

Arethusa was meditating down by the ocean. As of late she just didn′t feel herself and the one spot where she could always find herself again was near the water. Eyes closed she breathed in and out hands in her lap shoulders squared head tipped back the warm rays of the sun could be felt against her skin but some how it didn′t warm her like it normally would.  Her heart felt heavy with everyone mixing into her business causing her heart to break.

A shiver ran up Arethusa′s spine and the tips of her fingers felt of ice as her breath was coming out in bouts of frost. She opened her eyes and they widened at what she saw. Ice had formed over the sand she was sitting on like a fine layer. She looked at her hands and the tips where blue before shifting back to normal.

She quickly stood up about to get some help when she felt her heart harden. Ice was covering her heart she clutched her chest gasping for air trying to scream out for someone to help her but the only thing that came out was the frost breath and she fell to her knees the tears that streamed down her face froze just as quickly as she produced them and she gasped out loudly getting one gurgling scream out before the ice seemed to pierce inside of her heart.

It took her a few moments to recover before she stood to her feet. Hands in front of her. As she noticed her skin was paler and almost glistened in the sunlight as her hand moved to her chest and she could no longer feel the heavy burden of caring to much about anyone. As she moved her fingers through her hair she felt ice crystals in them. Pulling the once blonde hair into her view it was now pale blue.

Arethusa felt eyes on her and she whipped around right quick and she saw nothing at first but a outline of a man appeared. "Your heartache was to much to bare. So I have given you a gift. You will not fall in love ever unless someone can warm your heart and soul. Which as you know does not come easily." The man′s voice was deep and yet quiet like the wind blowing as soon as he was done speaking he dissolved into thin air and Arethusa stood in the frost covered sand for hours mulling over what had just happened to her. As the moon lifted high in the sky so did a smirk on Arethusa′s face. She could life a carefree life one without the burden of love.

    Arethusa's Water Bending Class(Basics)

Waterbending's strength is its great versatility. Rather than supporting a separate set of offensive methods, waterbending employs defensive techniques that can be transformed into attacks and counters - defense into offense. Instead of simply deflecting an attack, waterbending's defensive maneuvers focus on control, achieved through turning an opponent's own strength against them, rather than directly harming the opponent.

Types of Water bending to be taught to in the basics class

Streaming the water:  it is a move that draws water from a source that waterbenders move around their bodies. This move is thought to be used for basic training so that beginning waterbenders can get a "feel" for water, but it is in reality a useful move performed by waterbenders of every skill level.

Water bullet: The water bullet is a move where a waterbender bends a large amount of water and sends it in a forceful blow toward their target. It is similar to a water jet, but it is more for a quick use since the jet takes more concentration. It is basic yet useful because it takes little time to perform and has a significant effect on the target.

Water cloak: A waterbender can use their water as a form of armor with tentacle-like arms. The bender can use these arms to grab objects or enemies, whip enemies, blast enemies with water, and freeze them. If a waterbender has less water available, he or she can simply form the arms instead of the entire cloak

Water filtering: When working in concert with an earthbender, a waterbender can purify polluted water. The waterbender suspends the polluted water in the air while the earthbender removes the pollutants.

Water jet: High pressure jets can be used to force opponents back or even blast clean through a target if focused enough. Water jets are primarily used if the user has the intent of severely hurting their opponents.

Water knife: The ability to shape water into a super-sharp edge or point for a split-second, enabling a waterbender to cut through metal, wood and stone

Water wall/water shield: Water can be molded into a variety of shapes and can be used to deflect an attack, trap opponents in a viscous body, reshaped and propelled at attackers before they can recover, or solidified into a shield of ice. This diversity and ability to swiftly change to suit the situation is what makes the waterbender's defense so adaptable. Although usually protective, the shield needs some type of compression or else it will not be effective.

Water whip: The water whip is a commonly used move that involves creating a lashing tendril of water to swipe at an opponent. The shape, size, and length are all determined by a waterbender's control, and more powerful benders can create larger whips, or ones of greater finesse. The whip can be sharpened into a blade that can slice through metal with relative ease.
