1. You would need to add and play with the owners Ba'al and Shee, Would You be okay with this?
2. Para, Multi Para and Up are the preferred writing styles, usually Novel form in story. Would You be okay with this?
3. Which Kingdom Would You be interested in playing in? Is it a set character with a set position? Or an original character? (If Created, Did You look over the set features for each kingdom, and take them into consideration? For example Sky Kingdom features are Blonde hair, blue eyes. Fyre Kingdom Black Hair Brown or Hazel Eyes. Earth Kingdom Blonde or Red Hair with Brown or Green Eyes. Water has Auburn hair with Green or Blue Eyes ect.)
4. What Powers will You be giving your Character? Each Kingdom has set powers (See blog List if You have not yet.) Depending on which Kingdom you choose to be a part of will depend on your powers and capability. You can not make up your own powers as you go along. Is this alright with You? (Please note that Vampires are NOT allowed in the actual Fae Realm. there are spells in place on the portals that will cause vampire blood to explode. Andos* are acceptable, but your character will not be allowed to cross realms.)
5. How often Can You be on? I've had a lot of problems with people taking important roles, and vanishing soon afterward. How often Can you, or Will You be willing to be on the Page? How active would you be?
6. Before We accept You, We need to see a Sample of Your writing. Please Write out an In character introduction of the character You want to play for the Realm. It can be anywhere from para to Novella (Multi para is Preferred.) Please Be specific in things, and Really show us What You've got.

The sky was hidden by grey clouds, as it always did this time of year on Execution Island. The rest of the Islands in The Southern Isles of Naur Ando had sun year round, only this one remained dark. It could possibly be the nature of the ongoing of the building that had been constructed to cover the entire island. There were two docks that were the only entrance or exit from the island. Each one was heavily guarded and watched closely. The incoming dock which was where the prisoners were brought in, and the exporting dock where the wine was taken out. He had Asked for Queen Coltessa to meet him at the Entrance dock where the latest Shipment of Prisoners were to be brought in.
Captain Julia traveled the world, gathering the most hardened Criminals and brought them to Execution island. They were fed a Strict Diet of Sugar and various Fruits to Prep them for the First part of the Process. It would help with the Fermentation Process later on. The ship could be seen in the distance, whether it was Julia's or Coltessa's he couldn't be sure. Once the Ship was close enough, he nodded to the Guards standing at the Entrance. They knew to be ready when the Prisoners arrived.
2 - Julia
I was traveling with Gabriel who i knew not was a vampire. On one of our travels I encountered a Spanish ship. A big battle endured and I was shot dying in the process. Gabriel picked me up and carried me to my cabin. In my dying bed. He turned me and had me drink from him. Turning me into a Vampirate. As i recovered, My hunger for blood grew each day. I was in me cabin and then try to take a sip of rum. As the taste was bitter and unpleasant and throwing the bottle against the wall of the ship. I realized i couldn't drink rum. I tried to find a way to quench my hunger. As I went and grabbed one of the crewman drunk on the floor sleeping holding a bottle in his hand and picked him up by his shirt. Showing my fangs before the man could scream I bitten into his warm flesh. Drinking from him savoring every drop of his blood. Then throwing him on the ground. Grabbing my hair looking up screaming as i knew i was doomed to live a life without me sweet rum. As timed passed . I commandeered ship. Drinking from the crew. As me men took the goods. I would leave the ship a blood soaked ruin. As me crew started to fear me. I assured them and went to get help from me son Blackbeard. Where he created Zombies. To help maintain me crew and keep them from abandoning the ship in fear. Traveling now with zombie in the ranks of the ship we sailed to meet Ba'al and made a deal with him for Rubies and goods fer me ship. In Exchange for Slaves. I looked at him* I shall bring ye the worst prisoners found around the seven seas. Murders Thieves and down right evil men. * We shook and I made way in search of men. Traveling to Santo Domingo, Dominica, Mayaguana and Santiago gathering and capturing slaves on me travels. Some of the men tried to take over my ship but I would soon make there life a living hell. Giving them a diet of alcohol and Sugar. The Zombies would whip them and have them chained and shackled. Placing them in the brig. As the prisoners soon would know they were headed to a worse fate then death. As we arrived near the shores. The men gathered the prisoners as they were brought to there knees on deck. I stood in front of them with me arms crossed Licking my lips with my fangs showing as the men started to tremble in fear. The zombie guard whipped them. As i looked at the prisoners Saying in a sarcastic voice.* When you are brought before me you will bow. * One of the men looked up at me and spit at me. I walked up and slapped him across the face. * You will fuckin respect me. I will make sure you get the most torture. As the ship came to port. The Canvass was tied up and the anchor dropped as the gang plank was brought down. So the prisoners. Can be picked up by the guards. The zombie quartermaster. Gibbins. Cracked the whip as the men stood still chained as they walked down the plank to the guards. I was dressed all in black. With a Golden plume in my hat. Walked down to meet with Baal * Your prisoners are here. I anticipate you have my payment as agreed upon,. * The zombie guards watched from above on the railings. I looked up at them. Then at Baal. * They are a new addition to my ship. As you know I am now Vampire. I expect a fair supply of Blood wine for my efforts. As well as food and supplies fer the ship. *placing my hand on the handle of my sword. * Has Queen Coltessa arrived yet. I would like to pay my respects.
3- Coltessa
It had only been a matter of days since she had seen the quiet man. She had treasured a trust in him for all he had done for her. With the transaction of the Black Kingdom completed and the deeds sign back over to her, it was time to learn so much more. Her taste of the thirst of most of her kind was an acquired one. She had but one issue with it. To let flesh touch her lips was unheard of. She had a unique way she would feed and David's hunger lurked deep within her veins, making it hard sometimes to control that thirst. She had literally been starving herself. Hindering on the verge of decay, she knew she needed to restore her inner self back to the woman she once was before her David went missing. She had no choice but to feed that hunger now. Ba'al, with his kindness, offered a tour of Execution Island, sharing with her briefly the factories bottle blood wine. It peeked her curiosity, as that aspect of her, was still un~tamable. The thought of subduing her hunger through a bottle gave her the want to begin to travel once more. The Shadowed Rose was prepared and the course readied for the Island. Ba'al's offer deeply honored and as she stood on the helm of the ship, the southern winds blew her raven hair into its grasp. Her darkened eyes despised the waters of Captain Julia, though she too had become a dear friend, and her anger caused the waves to heighten. Calming her anger, she breathed in and retired to her cabin. Her form laid down and stared out of the cabin window, It would be dark soon, the travel proposed to be ended by a two days travel.. She summoned LeNessa, a quiet young girl who, since David's disappearance, had become a vessel for her. Having the devotion to drain her crimson milk into a goblet for her so her Mistress would not have to touch her flesh. Her pale exterior of a porcelain doll came from the shadows of her dark cabin and she was handed that goblet. Coltessa smiled at her, gathering her golden locks with in her own porcelain hands"Ye hath been so good to me LeNessa. But ye yourself, I hath all but drained. Lord Ba'al and his Execution Island has been offered for us to tour. Blood wine. Manufactured I'm told by prisoners of a sorts. Perhaps this wine of his, would appease thine thirst to give ye time to rest. Ye art such a prized possession I could not do without."She smiled to her, her golden hair leaving her grasp slowly as LeNessa lowered her head and returned to her chambers, this allowing her Mistress to drink and relax on her new journey. Watching her companion leave her gave her a sad feeling. To be alone was something Coltessa had grown to accept. Her David's love still fresh within her soul. Sipping LeNessa's crimson milk, she lay back and watch the darkening sky and upon finishing it, she emerged back to the helm and watched as the blanket of night covered Captain Julia's sea.
4- Ba'al
Waiting Patiently at the docks while Julia's Ship approached, he noticed a difference in the Ship. It wasn't until he actually saw her that he realized how large of a difference. He handed her the payment, a small sack of Rubies, and another of gold. "The rest will be loaded onto your Ship." He nodded to her ship as he spoke. Out of the Corner of his eye Coltessa's Ship could be seen, and a small smile formed as he nodded in the direction of the approaching vessel. "Looks like it won't be long for you to wait. Just enough time for your.... men..." He paused, trying to find the right word to describe the new Crewmen the Captain had acquired "To unload the Prisoners." He finished, completing the smile and taking a step back to get a better view of the new arrivals.
While Watching the men line up along the passageway to the building, he stood perfectly still, arms folded lightly behind his back. Hazel eyes moved to examine each man, sizing them up. For once he was not evaluating his odds in a fight, but deciding what parts would make the best for the wine. He watched the way each man moved, muscle structure, and other various actions that would tell what organs would have the most blood flow and would be the strongest. Once all of the men had been unloaded, and evaluated it was near time for Coltessa's Ship to be Docking. Giving Captain Julia a small nod, He began to turn and walk down the Dock to where the ship would be arriving. He waited Patiently with Julia for the Ship to dock. Once the Ship had been Deboarded, he gave Queen Lestat a bow of respect, and greeting. "Pleasure to see you again." He said with a smile as he returned to a standing position. "The Prisoners have all been lined up outside the doors to enter the building they will be leaving in Bottles." A hint of Amusement could be heard in his voice. He gave the two women a moment to greet each other before taking a step back, and half turning toward the building. "Shall we?" He asked, gesturing to the Building with his arm.
Upon entering the building of the Blood Winery, all light was nearly extinguished. Only a few torches lit the Black stone hallway ten feet apart, alternating on each side. "This is the hallway the Prisoners wait to be inspected in." He announced, standing to the side to let The Queen and Captain enter. "Each Prisoner is checked for diseases before being sent, and checked once more on arrival." He continued, beginning to walk down the hallway. "They are then removed of all clothing, and separated into lines by their blood type." He pointed to the divisions in the Hallway and kept walking. "Once in their new lines, they are removed of all hair and any other artificial articles (Wooden teeth, false eyes, Ect.). Their Shackles are next connected to a chain that pulls them across a pit." He gestured to the Pit with a wide sweep of his arm. "Water is tossed on them and they are cleaned of all dirt and debris before the process of drawing blood can begin." Once they reached the end of the Hallway, he gestured to the men at the door to begin dividing and preparing the Prisoners. "At the end of the pit, they will be attached by their feet Here." He continued while the Prisoners were continuing the preparation Process. He pointed to a chain that reached across a slotted floor that catches all blood drained from them. "To work up fear and increase the taste of the blood, no major arteries are cut in this process. They are to be drained of much of their blood, but not completely." He added, walking along the floor. "Should we have a little fun and test out a few of the Prisoners?" he asked, a devilish grin forming as he spoke."Once on the other side of the chain, they are moved one at a time to be skinned alive." He nodded to the other end of the Chain section. "The blood is caught by a net covered hole that leads down to the lower level. Once in the lower level, the first steps of mixing begins. the skin is thrown together to be pressed for more blood later. The muscles are next to be stripped and thrown into another area for pressing. digestive organs are thrown out, and others are set aside and separated for later use. After each body is dismembered and torn apart, all that is left at the end of the process is bone. Bones are thrown into a pit of their own to be crushed down or used in some other way at another time." His grin never faded as he spoke. the Prisoners had all been finished Prepping by this time, and were ready for the next step.
5 - Julia
As I saw Baal and he handed me the sachets of gold and the other of rubies. I smiled showing my fangs as my eyes grew red. the darkness of my soul was revealed As i looked at Baal and bowed. * Your payment is well taken Baal. I will continue to supply more slaves from the island which are prisoners. There is a few i keep on board so when i want to drink I can kill them and hang them letting there blood drip into the bottles. * licking my fangs as i think of it. * As two of my zombie men stood beside me, One holding a cat o nines in his hand. As i heard the waves crashing against the sands and turned seeing Coltessa ship. As i accompanied you my zombie crew stayed with the prisoners keeping them in line. As one tried to escape my crewman cracked the whip on his back removing flesh from bone. As the man fell to his knees and pleased for mercy. I heard the commotion as we stood at the dock . As i saw the commotion and seen the zombie crewman had got the man and placed him back in line I smiled knew my new crew do there job. As I seen Lady Coltessa and bowed * tis good to see ye Queen Coltessa, Tis has been a long time. *Smiling at her revealing my fangs. As I then walked following Baal and her toward the factory. As i followed into the hallway where me zombie men were holding whips. I looked at them * Return to the ship, I release ye of ye duties * As the men left the chained prisoners and they looked around scared. The terror in there faces can be seen as one man knees began to shake, Seeing the hallways slightly lit. As I walked passed the men and they looked at me. One of the prisoners knew i was a vampire and dropped to his knees. *Please captain kill me now. I don't want to be here. I plead your mercy. * I chuckled and looked at him. * You are no longer my concern. * As i walked ahead watching as each man was undressed and inspected. * glaring at one men placing him under a hypnotic trance with my gaze as he became silent and accepted his fate. As i stood next to Coltessa as i watched as the men were striped of teeth., Watching as they were pulled from there mouths as two men held them down as they screamed in agony. I whispered to Coltessa. * This is very interesting and good the way to supply vampires with blood. Don't ye agree. As i am one now. I do have to say I wonder what David would think of me now being a vampirate. * I chuckled. Hearing the men in pain as there skin is ripped leaving raw flesh as I see the blood draining. The hunger burning within me for a taste. Trying to control myself. I love hearing the torture of there screams. I closed my eyes and took that in. Giving me a sort of orgasm. I looked at Baal * The process for the factory is excellent. What do you do with the prisoners which you find to have disease. How do you dispose of them. * Walks with them as we continued the tour. The echos of screeching can be heard through out the factory.

His Island as dark as the Black Kingdom its self flourished through the early morning breach as her Captain maneuvered them into the port. The shadow of Lord Ba’al’s form, seem to appear to her as he stood on the edge of his docks awaiting her arrival. The Shadowed Rose aligned with Captain Julia’s ship as its shadow seemed to tower over her sails. The three tiered Rose once served an Oceanic home when traveling upon the seas. A ballroom and massive dinning hall as well as elegant suits for those who would live no longer beyond the boundaries of where they entered for their trip. She accommodated her meals perfectly, seeing it would be there last voyage. Not seeing it personally, she saw his smile crease his lips and she returned one as well as she was escorted to where he stood. Her head inclined to his respectful bow and she touched his cheek lightly."You are Regent of the Black Kingdom and forever within good standing to its Queen; you needed bow to me Lord Ba’al."Looking towards where he wished to have her follow she breathed in deeply. She was famished. Though her private vessel did her best, the hunger for David and not having him to feed her, was becoming unbearable. The beast within her had never been seen in the Black Kingdom and as she exhaled she knew it would be best had no one seen such a side to her.She followed his form as if a prowler was being led to its feeding grounds. Her tongue hindered upon her own teeth that gave her the characteristics of who she was and she listened intently as he described the abilities he had in creating such a divine taste for the wine she would savor later. The closer to the building, the more she buried the beast craving to lash out with its hunger. But being the classy lady she was bread to be, her power kept her will strong. She fed not as others of her kind. Her mouth would never touch the flesh of anyone. He explained the cycle of their draining process of the crimson milk into a luxury wine that could almost be tasted with each step Lord Ba’al explained to her. As she watched Captain Julia kindle to the evil of it all a light smile pursed her lips and her eyes seemed to light up. The torturous acts and the screams of the demonstrations of the process stirred her hunger. Her voice a mere whisper to the prisoners, though they heard her perfectly clear."Weakness won’t save you. Accept your fate. ‘Tis beautiful what you do for our kind. Be calm. Your screams are gratifying. I thank you for them."She went back to Lord Ba’al’s voice as he continued to speak the process to her. She watched hungrily. Her breath a labored pain of want and need to feed. Looking to her Captain and smiling with her hunger she wrapped her arm entwined with hers and whispered back to her."I almost wish I had a bottle within my reach M’lady. As for mine David, His presence be near and looking over those he cared dearly for. He would be proud luv. *looking to Lord Ba’al* Yes M’lord, what is it ye do with those not suitable for such a treat? Such a magnificent man you art M’lord. I am proud to hath thee apart of our great Kingdom."
7- Ba'al
Smiling proudly as both women voiced their approval of the process so far, he waited for the first set of men to reach them, and bent to pull a small dagger from his boot. He was never unarmed, even though with most of his powers the dagger was rarely used for anything but his own sadistic pleasures."Bring the coward first." he called to the guards, who grabbed the man who had fallen to his knees and begged for his life to the first section. Ba'al twirled the dagger in his hand as he waited for the man to reach him."The rejected men are sent to Eden." He answered to both Women. "They are used for Hunting down." He shrugged as the man was brought in front of them, shackled and ready. He held his blade to the man, running the flat part of the blade against every artery, making sure not to cut just yet.
With a Smile, he turned the blade, and made a slit up the man's chest, making sure it wasn't deep enough to puncture any of the Organs since they were to be used later. There was a small table next to the work area that held some cups that he had asked the workers to leave for the tour. He held each cup to the wound, and filled them, handing one to each of the women.
"A taste of the blood before it is mixed." he said, making sure he hadn't spilled any. "once we Reach the lower level you will be able to see the Mixing process revealed." He said with a smile "the Organs that will have been separated are treated much like grapes in the normal wine making process." He continued as the women tasted the pure and fresh blood of the man. "The Organs are pressed and blended down for the fermenting Process." He said continuing to cut on the man to make him bleed more. "Yes, this is done the old traditional way with bare feet and stomping of the organs." He added with a Smile, a hint of amusement in his tone. "The Blood that is being drained from him right now will be all mixed together with the blood from the other prisoners and kept at body temperature to stop coagulation. Once the organs are ready and fermented, they will be ready to be prepared." The man Screamed as he sliced more of his skin, but he was ignored as Ba'al continued. "The humans have been fed nothing but Sugar and Various fruits on the journey to the Island to help with the fermenting process, since the normal human organs don't produce enough sugar on their own to ferment." he finished, Motioning to the Workers to move the man to the next step. He held the dagger out by the hilt to both of the women." Either one of you want to play?" he asked, making sure to hold the blade by the flat edge so it could be grabbed by the hilt.

He asked if they wished to play as she eyed the knife belonging to Lord Ba’al. It had been long since she had done something so vile and sinister that as she eyed the blade being held out to them, she remembered the severed head she bid to her David before their wedding day. Moving slightly to perhaps take the blade from him, she remembered her own tucked secretly within her bodice. Now looking to his blade as if it had been tarnished, then looking to the cup in her hand, she smelled the aroma of the crimson milk and smiled once again to Lord Ba’al."I do M’Lord. Might I show ye how I like to play?"She looked at the next morsel and had the guard bring him forth to her. Her eyes grew to a bright white as she lifted the hunger to her lips. His feet dangling below him, just barely above her. The fear in his eyes caused a great smile of her lips as she licked them from the thought of her own process where "fresh" milk was at hand. Her thoughts clutched at his vocal chords so he seemed paralyzed from screaming, only his eyes told the horror as her own blade was revealed and held to him.As if their bodies where held parallel to each other, his rose flat above her hers though not touching. Her hand lifted to the throat carefully, not wanting to waste the parts Lord Ba’al needed for his processing of the morsel. Puncturing his body just below the neck but not close enough to do much damage, she saw the scream in his eyes as her mouth opened below him and the warm milk streamed into her mouth. When Queen LeStat had her little drink, her mind moved them back to standing positions and she stepped away with a lick of her dark lips. A look to her Captain and Lord Ba’al with a slight explanation."I do not like the feel of flesh to thine mouth. Before mine marriage to David, I was but half of who mine husband was. Mine father Vampyre, mine mother but human. My father taught me such a way, so that I would not hath to feel their bodies grow cold under mine feeding. It has since become a play vessel. So ye see M’lord, your bottling such a divine drink is much to mine liking and I won’t hath to touch the vagrants used no longer."She licked the blade of her knife as if it were being washed from the blood that spilled upon it. Placing it back in her bodice, she smiled at her Captain. "They are quite tasty."She stood back beside her and looked innocently at the rest of the men. Their fears in their eyes a pleasing affect to watch. Looking back to Lord Ba’al, a thought came to her of her sweet vessel, LeNessa."M’lord, do ye not use women within your little process. Their blood such sweet bliss."
Ba'al-
Watching her with great admiration, he wiped the blood from his blade onto the underside of his shirt and slid it back into his boot. Nodding his head, and stepping to the side he continued to watch the Queen with great curiosity added from her words. The man's soundless screams were intriguing, his eyes showing the terror his voice couldn't express. Her way of toying with the man was interesting to him. Her explanation only intriguing him more.
"I'm very glad to hear how useful the wine will be to you Dear Queen." He replied with a wide smile. The Question asked next was an interesting one that he hadn't even thought of before. "In all honesty, there aren't very many female prisoners that are brought here. Most women who commit crimes don't make it as far as the Winery. They tend to die quickly from abuse given by the guards that capture them." He frowned slightly. "throw a woman in with a bunch of savages and they will do much more horrible things to her than can ever be done here." He shook his head, and looked between the two women. "I would never subject a woman to such cruelty, criminal or not. The few that do make it here are kept seperate for specialty brewings dealt with on the other side of the island."
The Southern side of the Island was set up for the specialty blends, women, fae, and other types of blood that could be sold for a slightly higher price. These were all handled with great care, and more attention to details than the other wines. The tour would eventually work it's way towards that end of the island, but for now his focus was mainly on the normal process.
Glancing to the Captain, he gave her a quick smile. "Any other Questions before we continue below?" He asked, hands folded neatly before him, fingers lacing together as his hazel eyes moved between the two women.
Coltessa-
~such a thought had not occurred to the lady raynes. as he expressed his reasons. To be touched so horribly did not sit well with her. but yet, lord ba’al seemed amused by such actions of his men and perhaps it was a part of his procedures for such frolic to be allowed~
~gaining much more gratitude for the regent so placed by her for the black kingdom a sheer smile creased her lips. the tour would soon move on to below, he had stated. she would be patient and wait for the sweet blissful event of the other side of the island. right now, learning of this wondrous organization was most intriguing. she looked to her captain awaiting any questions from her, perhaps something she had not asked herself. her arm she entwined once more with the illustrious woman. another so trusted within her late husbands kingdom~
Julia-
As I seen Coltessa grab the man picking him up. My mouth opened at the site my fangs showed as the man scrinced in pain and the adrenoline as he was scared knowing he was in danger. I smiled at the side. Knowing she was wicked like David was, As You moved away after drinking his blood. I nodded and replied as I looked at you. " Yes they are even better when they are evil doers. They taste quite pleasant m'lady.Continued to look around . I smirked. The smell of blood consumed me. I heard his question. "I know of a place where magical creatures can be obtained. For a higher price. I can bring more Faes and women if ye be in need of them. I can honestly say there is nothing like the taste of fae blood upon my lips.* I walked to Baal. There is a cargo ship with proisoners on board coming off the coast of St Lucia bound for Haiti. I can intercept the ship and capture the prisoners aboard one we leave. They are some of the worse prisoners said to roam the Caribbean. They should be a good thing for the winery. *turned as Coltessa licked the blade. Then smriked. I couldnt wait to go to the other side. I knew there be more to see on how the women are handled. I started to head toward the stairs below. Then looked at Baal. * You done an excellent job with the winery. I would like to see what ye have below.
Worthless, Pathetic, weak.... all these words rang in the young prince's head as he tried to focus on his lessons. His mother's Voice was constantly ringing in his head. Even when she wasn't there physically, she was judging him. No matter how hard he tried for her approval, it would never be enough. He glanced from his bow that he was supposed to be concentrating on, his hazel eyes meeting the annoyed look of his teacher.
"why must I kill him?" He asked the teacher, a hint of a whine in his voice. "It's not like he is a threat to the Kingdom..." The young Prince added.
The teacher let out a long and frustrated sigh before bending down to the Prince's level. The bright blue eyes met the young boy's. varying degrees of frustration were buzzing from all over the man's mind, but the Prince tried to show no signs of his knowledge of it.
"Because Prince Riagán , your Mother demands I teach you to shed the blood of those who she feels are deserving of it.
Eyes closed, and head bowed, the young Prince turned to face his target, and aimed. Right eye. The pressure from the bow released, and he closed his eyes once more. That familiar sickening thunk as his Arrow claimed it's place made his stomach Churn. He dropped the bow and turned away, not even looking at what he had done. He knew he had hit his mark. Feeling suddenly ill, he covered his mouth, running behind the nearest cart he could find, and released the contents of his stomach onto the ground. He heard his Mother's voice again, and looked up to see the man he had shot through the eye. His teacher approached him, and leaned down to whisper to the Prince.
"You are Prince Riagán Aran." He said in a stern voice. "Son of the most feared Queen in all the Kingdoms of Alfheim. You do NOT get sick after a Kill, you Celebrate the fact that the man who dared to touch your Mother's dress hem is Dead!"
Riagán Groaned, and covered his mouth. His eyes closed again. The moment they closed his teacher grabbed his shoulders roughly. His eyes shot open, and a low growl rumbled in his chest. His eyes narrowed on the man, who shrank away with Fear. He knew better than to touch the Prince without permission. No one was allowed to touch the Prince in any manner, not even his own Father. OH his Father, what he wouldn't give to see and speak with him right now. His travels wouldn't return him for another month, and he was stuck with his Mother, and this man to teach him all he was supposed to learn.
"I- I'm sorry My Prince, I lost my head, please lets just keep this between us. I won't tell your mother about you becoming sick, and you don't have to tell her about this...." The man fell to his knees, begging for his life.
"I won't get sick this time..." He spoke in a cold and emotionless voice, his facial features turning dark as he reached out to stroke the Teacher's Cheek. The man's skin boiled from the inside out, blood filling his mouth only to be sprayed as he coughed. The warm liquid covered the child's face as he continued to cook the man's insides. A small smile formed as he watched the man fall to the ground, choking on his own blood as the light flickered from his eyes. Bright Blue turned to a near white before filling with blood and exploding from the heat. The young Prince jumped back as they exploded, a look of disgust returning life to his stony features. He wiped the liquid from his face, and did the best he could with his clothes. "Now Mother will never have to know..." He said Happily before picking up his bow, and skipping off to return home, and tell his mother about his lessons. He would need a new teacher though.
By the time he reached the Castle, he could tell word had spread about his little problem in the market during his lessons. The way people looked at him you would never guess they knew anything, they knew better than to show anything other than fear with his family. Sideways glances and hidden smirks were the closest they would show outside. ON their minds though, that was another story entirely. There was no hiding of the internal laughter at his humiliation. He couldn't blame them though, his mother had been right all along. He was weak. He was not worthy of his title. All pride in himself had vanished by the time he reached his Mother's Study. He paused, pressing himself against the wall as he heard his Mother inside. A man was speaking to her, but he wasn't his Father.
"He IS only a child. Did you really expect to have him handle an execution well?" The man's voice said Clearly, but kindly.
"He is My Son. He is supposed to be Ruthless!" His Mother Growled. Riagán Jumped slightly as he heard something crash. His mother had thrown something. Silence fell soon after, and he knew he had been heard.
Heart pounding in time with his feet, the young Riagán ran towards his favorite hiding spot. The only place he felt safe. The heavy wooden door of his Father's Library creaked as it opened, and the small boy scampered into the room, falling to his hands and knees as the heavy door slammed shut behind him. He knew he was going to be punished, and he had to hide before she found him. If her anger was lessened when he was caught the punishment might be a bearable pain.
Crawling in the dark, he found the spot he needed. a small hole in the books where the shelves met, and no books were held. His own personal hiding place. Many nights had been spent in this small hole, hiding from everything he didn't want to face. His journal was waiting for him, along with the strange writing device the man who had visited his room had given him.
"Write down every detail..." He repeated the man's word in a whisper. "No matter how little." He finished, beginning to write down the day's events. "If it's a day you wish to visit again, or one you want to forget, write it down." Was the last part of the strange man's words.
So that is exactly what he did.

I saw you today. In the Crowd, hiding behind one of the villiagers, But I know it was you. Somehow I always know, no matter what face you wear. I killed a man, two actually. One was forced, and the other... I wanted to. He made me angry, this dark feeling grew inside of me, and it scared me. I have never felt anything like it before. The eyes. Both times it was the eyes that got to me. Mother specifically ordered that I shoot the man through the right Eye in the middle of the market to set an example for the men that try and view her as... I can't remember the word she used, but it was something I didn't understand. I got smacked when I asked what she meant, and told not to be such a stupid Child.
She does that a lot. I am beginning to think she is right, maybe I should have joined the others and been killed for being imperfect. Why did I have to kill my Teacher? All he did was touch me, it was a threatening touch, that was why I became so upset. If he had tried to comfort me would I have killed him for being too kind? I doubt I could. I need to speak with Father. He would know. You would know too. Why will you never come and talk to me? I always have to write down my life, but I never know when you will come to read what I've written to you. Will you return when the book is finished? Will you stay and tell me who you are? I want to know.
Setting the writing device down, and closing his book with a heavy sigh, he leaned back against the wall, and looked out at his Father's study. The room was dark, and the only sounds that could be heard were through the muffled door. He knew they were looking for him, but no one would search in here with the King gone, no one would dare.
Someone approached the door, and he held his breath as the sound of the handle clicking just out of place hit his pointed ears. His eyes closed tightly, wishing them away. the door never opened, and the voices continued down the hall. the prince breathed a sigh of relief and relaxed against the wall. He was safe for at least the night. His mother would drink, and he would sneak into his room early before she woke. She would summon for him, and the punishment would begin. Right now though.... Right now he would sleep. He would need his rest for whatever his mother had in mind for him.
His eyes became heavy, and he began to drift off to sleep, dreaming of the dark haired man that he was waiting to see again. The man with dark hair, and eyes that matched his own. The man had refused to say exactly who he was,but he wouldn't deny being a relative, or a member of The Family. Ba'al had been the name he'd been given.
Bathing in light in the Gardens of the Earth Fae lands of the Fae Kingdoms, two sisters lay in the grass. Head to head, both staring up to the trees above them as they swayed in the light breeze. Giggles could be heard from the girls as they whispered secrets to one another. The Darker haired sister whispered into the pointed ear of her more fair haired sister, who covered her mouth with her hand, and giggled before whispering back into her sister’s pointed ear. The Darker haired sister’s green eyes widened with a gasp as she tilted her head up to look at the sister above her, biting her lip.
“Aeval!” She exclaimed with a shocked tone before grinning. “You naughty girl.” She whispered, a clearly amused tone to her voice. A wicked smile turned on the dark haired sister’s face while the fairer sister gawked at the girl’s shock.
“Like you are one to Judge Cuthda! Sneaking into the Prince’s Chambers when you went to visit the Fyre Kingdom.” Aeval exclaimed while her sister continued to smile.
“oh and what a fun night it was dear Sister.” Exhaling a sigh of happiness at the memories from her night with the Prince, a soft smile formed on her lips. “You’ll know what it’s like one day sister. Soon you will marry his Brother Finndo, and we will be sisters twice over.”“He’d have to agree to Marry you first Cuthda.” Aeval reminded her Sister carefully.
“Oh he will. I’ll make sure of it.” A mischievous grin formed on the young Girl’s face as plans began forming to get the man she wanted to make her his Bride.
“What’s he like?” Aeval asked with a heavy sigh, her mind still on the Boy she was told that she would Marry one day. Cuthda looked to her sister with some Confusion.
“The Prince?”
“Finndo. I’m supposed to be his wife, but I have never met him, and know nothing about him.”
“He is Quiet. Usually keeps to himself in the Library while his Brother practices his sword fighting with the soldiers.” Cuthda grinned, biting her lower lip at the thought of her black haired Prince shirtless, and sweaty, swinging his sword in just the right ways…. Her sister’s thoughts were much more innocent, her curiosity about the younger Brother to the Prince driving her near madness. “you’ll find out at the masquerade Ball tomorrow night.” She added with a nod.
Almost as if on Cue, a bell chimed to announce an arrival in the Kingdom. Both sisters looked at each other with grins, and scrambled to get up, and run through the field of flowers towards their castle to greet the new arrivals.
Arriving at the castle after a few minutes, giggling with flush cheeks, and slightly out of breath, both girls stopped dead in their tracks. First off of the carriage that had arrived was the younger of the Brothers, finndo. The dark blonde hair, and different colored eyes were unmistakable. One Brown, one Blue. He was a striking boy, and the sight of him made Aeval smile. Her eyes met the man she was meant to marry, cheeks turning even brighter than they had been before. His hand took hers in his own. His touch was so warm, it made her jump slightly. His eyes locking on hers as he kissed the back of her hand.
“Pleasure to meet you Princess Aeval.” he whispered to her with a charming smile that made her nearly melt. His kiss had felt like that quick moment of warmth when her hand would flick over a freshly started fire. The warmth stayed, and grew within her, warming her from the inside as she felt herself falling for that charming smile of his. Cuthda’s eyes however remained on the carriage, awaiting the sight of her Prince. When he stepped from the carriage, she bounced on the balls of her feet with excitement, restraining herself from flinging herself into his arms. her head was swimming as he greeted her with a kiss to the cheek, and a naughty whisper in her ear that made her blush. Her father looked on disapprovingly, but was distracted by the announcement of the King.
All attention turned to the Fyre King as he exited the carriage before greeting each of the girls, and leaving them alone with his sons to guide them inside their castle. Each of the sisters took the hand of their chosen brother, and was lead into their home. The Castle of the Earth Kingdom was made from the great tree, a spiral staircase twisting around from the tops of the branches, down, deep underground. The stairs was made from the tree itself, woven branches near the top, an extension of the trunk twisting down to the ground where the roots took over, leading deep down in the dark earth. Towards the top was where the rulers, and parents would be heading to discuss their political matters. Down into the living area below was where the young Princes, and Princesses would head below ground to the living Quarters.
Without parental attentions, Cuthda grabbed the Prince’s hand, and drug him off to her chambers. Aeval, and Finndo were left behind, alone for the first time, only moments after their first meeting. Awkward, and shy glances filled the silence as each of them tried to think of what to do with their time alone.
“Want to see the Library?” She finally asked, breaking the silence as she grabbed his hand, and pulled him to the stairs, running deeper underground to the Library. Once they reached the right level, they found themselves in a circular room, shelves of books built into the earth. Holding both of his hands in hers, she pulled him to the center of the room with a wide grin. She let go of his hands to spin around, making a wide gesture with both arms, pulling them in, and clasping her hands together with a wide grin once the spin was completed. Her skirt continued to swing one more time around before settling back into place. He watched her instead of the books, smiling wide at her grand gesture.
“I hope that you are this lively at the ball tomorrow night.” He teased, wrapping one arm around her waist, and taking her hand in the other to begin a slow, musicless dance.
“Oh I will be.” She nodded, excitedly. “I hope you can keep up.” Her smile beamed with happiness as they slowly danced across the library floor.“Oh I’m sure I will…..” He teased, spinning her before dipping her. She let out a noise of surprise before giggling as she was dipped. She grew quiet though as he hovered above her, the smile remaining as he slowly began to lean down towards her. Their lips were close to touching, her eyes closed, ready to feel his lips against hers.
“Aev!” She heard her Sister call to her from the top of the stairs, a tiny squeal of surprise coming from her as she was dropped to the dirt floor. cuthda paused halfway down the stairs, Aeval glaring at her with an intensity that would kill if it could. “Umm… I’m sorry…. it can wait.” She said, backing up the stairs.
“No. Nevermind.” There was an angry tone to Aeval’s voice as she stormed up the stairs to her sleeping quarters. Cuthda hid her hands behind her back as she watched her sister with a frown. Her thumb moved to fidget with the ruby ring on her left hand that the Prince had given her.
Finndo looked up at her with a frown. “He gave you Mother’s ring didn’t he?” Cuthda nodded, and held up her hand with the ring, frowning. “Go. Tell her your good news, and let her know I will see her at the ball tomorrow. We’ll recreate the dance even better.” He smiled, and bowed his head to her. “Goodnight my Future Sister twice over.” WIth a quick bow, he was gone, most likely upstairs in his own sleeping quarters for the night.
Running quickly up the stairs, she stormed into her sister’s room. She didn’t even knock, just opened the door, and thrust her left hand into her Sister’s tearstained face. Aeval began to make a noise of objection before her eyes caught the ruby ring, and she gasped with Joy, clutching at her chest. “No way…” She said with a wide grin, grabbing her sister’s hand, and pulling it towards her own face for a better look. Jumping up with a loud squeal of excitement, her arms flew around her sister, the petty fight forgotten completely as she rambled on about everything from the wedding date and location to what they would name their children. The two sister talked themselves to sleep, curled up in each other’s arms, all anger towards each other Forgotten, and only their futures with their own handsome Princes on their minds.
The following day went by smoothly. Breakfast brought to each of them in their individual rooms followed by more excited chatter between the sisters, even continuing into their visit to the tailor as their dresses for the ball were fitted. The tailor tried to quiet them by placing the masks on each of their faces. This attempt failed with every mask before he gave up and handed them each a mask on a stick. They were then taken to have their hair fixed for the ball, Cuthda opting for a blonde wig, and Aeval having her hair made to match her sister’s.
For the rest of the day, and into the early beginnings of what would be considered evening if there were a sun in the Kingdom to set, the Young Princesses prepared for the ball, hoping to make an impression on their Princes. The Princes however remained in their individual rooms, preparing in their own ways. Finndo wore a simple black outfit, and a black mask with gold trim. The Prince, his Brother wore an almost identical black outfit, but his mask was far different than his Brother’s. It was a full headed mask that was in the shape of a Phoenix, their family symbol. The part that rested over his head was designed to look like flames raising behind the Phoenix, and were made of glass in various colors, so light would shine through them and create the illusion of actual flames. The actual mask part was the body of the Phoenix, the wings curving up and around his face.
All four of them were lead to the ball area outside where the masquerade was to be held. It was a large garden area with an open field, trees hovering overhead, and surrounding the dance area. Musicians of various types could be heard, the sound echoing through the trees before they were even announced. The sounds of laughter and cheers from the other guests was unmistakable. Each Princess was introduced at the same time as her chosen Prince.
The ball was a success. Fairy wine flowed freely in celebration, leading to dancing from all involved. While the Princesses were distracted by their wine and dance, Finndo was pulled aside by his Brother into the forest that surrounded them.
“I need to leave, but I don’t want father to know I have gone yet.” He told his younger brother, taking his mask off as he spoke, Finndo’s with the other, and switching the two. “I will be back in time for breakfast.” He reassured his brother with a nod before disappearing into the thick forest of trees. Not another word was spoken before he backed his way out of the woods, fixing the mask on his head to match how his Brother had worn it.“There you are!” He heard a female voice exclaim. He saw the blonde hair, and immediately thought of Princess Aeval. He didn’t get a chance to respond before her lips were on his in a wine and lust induced kiss. Her lips were so sweet and soft, he didn’t want to break it just yet. Having completely forgotten about the mask switching, his focus remained completely on her. She pulled away from the kiss abruptly, taking his hands, and guiding him deep into the forest. He followed without a second thought. The next thing he knew, her lips were on his again, hands exploring his body over his clothes…. no… there was her hand. Grasping him, and pinning him to the tree, he was too distracted to fight. Wasn’t Aeval supposed to be a virgin though? How would she know how to… his mind was distracted by her touch again before he could even finish the thought. Moving their bodies so she was against the tree, he didn’t break the kiss. Her skirt was lifted, legs wrapping around his waist as her hands hurriedly moved to undress him. She was so warm and inviting as he took her, no pain shown, only a gasp of pleasure as she moved in ways he could only dream of her knowing. Yes, he was going to marry this wonderful woman. Her hand moved to the back of his neck, twisting her fingers in his hair as she softly moaned his name… no.. Had she just moaned his Brother’s name? It was then that he realized who she thought he was. He paused in his movements, causing her to say his brother’s name again with concern. She reached out, and light reflected from the ruby on her finger. Oh no, this was not good at all. He gasped, covering the lower half of his face quickly, knocking the mask from his head. Cuthda let out a scream of surprise, covering the lower half of her own face as she leaned back against the tree. Bending down to pick up the mask, he replaced it on his head as quickly as he could manage.
“No one must ever know about this.” He whispered as he adjusted his brother’s mask on his head. “He left for the night, but wouldn’t tell me where or why. Just that he’d be back by breakfast.” Still covering her face, Cuthda nodded. She was filled with fear at what her sister would do if she ever found out about this. She knew he’d felt bigger this time. Better… she’d almost wished it hadn’t stopped. Suddenly she had a strange curiosity about the man in front of her.
“You know…. since we’ve already started….” She teased with a smirk as she stepped closer towards him, one single finger brushing lightly over his lips before she leaned up to kiss him softly. Once he kissed back, she wrapped both arms around his neck, and pulled him closer to her so they could begin again. She moaned the correct name this time, knocking the mask from his head as he pulled the wig from hers. Their heated kisses, and moans of pleasure were quiet, but not too quiet for the rest of those at the ball. The King had gone looking for his youngest daughter, closing in on them when he heard the grunts and groans coming from their secluded little area.
“Unhand her!” The King cried out, letting out a low growl when he saw the face of the young Prince, and realized that it was the younger of the two defiling his Daughter. “How DARE you come to my Kingdom, and soil my daughter at my own ball. And it’s not even the daughter you are supposed to be marrying!” The King Drew his sword, and Aeval came running to stop him. She hadn’t realized yet what was going on, but she knew her Father would not truly want bloodshed at the ball.
“Father don’t!” She tried to yell out, her words catching in her throat as she saw her sister, and the man she had dreamed of marrying, frozen in each other’s arms. “no….” Was the only thought she could form completely, shaking her head and attempting to free the images from her sight and mind. Tears formed as she realized it wasn’t just a pretend image. She couldn’t look anymore.
Before she even realized it, she was running. She was running far, and she was running fast. Tears streamed down her face, her hair blowing in the wind as she ran. Branches tore at her clothes, ripping them. One of her slippers flew off as she was running, but she was in too much of a hurry to escape the images inside her mind that she left it and let it become lost in the vast forest.
Once her legs refused to run anymore, she fell to the ground, sobbing uncontrollably. Her tearstained face rested on the dirt, her body convulsing with sobs. She had run so far, and so fast that she had no idea where she had ended up. The small chiming of bells could be heard in the distance, but she ignored the sound. Pixies must be flying somewhere nearby, they loved the forests. Her sobbing continued until her body was completely exhausted, and there was nothing left in her to cry anymore. All that was left now was sleep.
“Aeval!” Cuthda called after her sister, making a move to chase after her, only to be taken by the guards back to the tree castle. “AEVAL!” She screamed again for her sister, her body thrashing wildly in protest of the guards grabbing her. Finndo was taken by the king at the end of his sword, guided to the castle.
“She can come visit you after the wedding.” Her father said, guiding Finndo by knife point still. “If my daughters are going to be defiled on my lands, at my own celebration, then one of you boys are going to marry her. Prince, or no Prince.” He continued, ignoring Cuthda’s pleas for him to stop. She was horrified for her sister, and herself. He had not been the man she picked to marry, but something about him had attracted her attention. She hate that she was fascinated by him, and disgusted with herself that she didn’t care about the wedding. All she could think about was how perfect his arms felt around her, and how much she hated it because she didn’t want to feel that way about the man her sister loved.
