War of Light (1/7/15)Location: Hills of Breidablik, Asgard
 Baldur had been tricked by Zeus after a meeting with Poseidon and Hades for aid against Zeus. It all started when Baldur saved Helen's brother Agelaus from Zeus's dungeon things spiraled out of control. Zeus lost his mind as Helen found out Zeus was indeed the monster everyone said he was. Zeus tried to trap Baldur into a different time realm and instead took two of his sons. Damaris and Damian where tapped for years on this parallel world while Helen was met by Zeus with a guilty face quickly explaining the trap was set for Baldur and not his grandsons. Once the two very grown men no longer boys where saved and brought home Zeus disappeared quickly. Baldur set the meeting with Poseidon and Hades because Helen wanted Zeus's head on a pike for harming her children and the stolen years of her babies. Poseidon and Hades both agreed war and killing Zeus would be bad but Baldur told them they where with the Norse on this or against them. It was up to them. When the meeting ended Baldur didn't know Zeus lay in waiting and was knocked out to be taken back to the dungeon he saved Helen's brother from.

Baldur looked around the brick stone used to hold him in his cell. He noticed the gritty sands and he knew he was being held by Zeus anger flooded him hoping that Helen's uncles where not apart of this. They where also cowards. To many years of war under their belts but the Norse where much stronger and more family united. When he heard the heavy wooden door open he looked up to see Helen's father coming in alone. Shutting the door he leaned up against it. The lone touch in the place lit Zeus's face. "I am in no gaming mood Zeus, Do you truly wish to inflict death upon me for saving Helen's brother? To which she asked me to do it. After you have stolen years of my children's lifes. Helen wants your head on a pike and not to mention two very angry grandsons." Baldur spoke and Zeus sighed pinching the bridge of his nose. "You talk to much." Zeus spoke and Baldur snorted out a laugh "Funny your the only one." Zeus leaned up and pulled a cloth out of his jacket pocket and he undid the cloth inside it was holding a knife Baldur's eyes widen. "By your silence I take it you know what this is." "Will you at least let me say goodbye to Helen?" Zeus pointed to the camera in the room and Baldur's eyes moved up to see it. "Your going to send her this? Her father killing her husband?" Zeus simply nodded his head. "Actions have consequences Zeus." he simply spoke and Baldur looked up at the camera giving a smile to his wife "I love you Helen, Always have and always will. Please look away now beautiful." Baldur's face hardened and Zeus moved in front of him and he stabbed him in the heart. Baldur gasped out but once the mistletoe wood pierced his skin he felt himself dying one more gasp sounded and the last thing he felt was the warm blood pooling down his chest. Zeus left Baldur slummed against the wall and walked from the cell. Sending the video on a tablet addressed to Helen in a box along with Baldur's wedding ring.
Now weeks had gone by and Helen was guiding Callia the eldest daughter of Baldur to become Queen. The sons of Odin all vowed to avenge Baldur. Váli leading the meetings for war as Helen sat at the table listening to the ghost of Baldur (due to the magic spell Loki placed on Baldur's ring) Baldur wanted everyone to be smart and safe he didn't wish to risk his children nor his wife being harmed in this war. Soon word spread like wildfire throughout the 9 realms and the Norse grew in strength and numbers. Poseidon, Hades, Ares and Ares twin sons Deimos and Phobos where set to join. Agelaus joined only to be at Helen's side so if something came up he would be there to protect her. The sons of Odin Thor,Hodr, Loki, Hermodr and Váli. Odin along with Bor would stick with the woman and children. The sons of Baldur all angry when Helen gave the command per Baldur's request to stay back with the woman and children as well. Word was sent out to Zeus to come face his impending doom on the battlefield.
Tents lined the river at Breidablik filled with those in aid. As dawn broke Váli gave the order for the horn to blow. Zeus and his hired army where coming over the snowy hills of Breidablik.
