Morning Mischief
La La woke up to the morning sun glaring in her window,
along with her seagulls fluttering around the room squawking. She couldn't really yell at them since it was
her fault for sleeping in. Sitting up,
swinging her feet over the side of the bed she yawned stretching before
grabbing the bag of cheetos off her night table throwing a handful out onto the
floor to appease her noisy birds. Like
the feathery piranhas they were they descended on the cheesy snacks to devour
them. With a small sigh she stood and
made her way to the bathroom to put on her bikini and brush her hair back,
walking back through her room she looked out the window to check the tree where
Viper most surely would be sleeping only to find him not there. With a frown she turned grabbing a shirt off
the edge of the bed slipping it on tying the ends of it in front of her, all
the while Moe, Larry, and Curly watched her expectantly waiting for more
snacks. With a smile she grabbed the bag
of cheetos walking to the door and out into the hallway to head to Vipers
chambers calling out behind her.
"Come on guys I need my goodies too!" The seagulls ran hurriedly behind her following
like little ducks would their momma.
Walking through the halls she smiled saying hi to the
servants she passed along her way, all who gave her looks wrinkling their noses
at her because of her noisy feathery friends following close behind. She ignored the reactions figuring they just
weren't used to having someone else around the Manor besides their Master. Happily she just about skipped through the
halls making her way to his Chambers where she stopped at the closed door. Before opening she turned looking at her
three birds speaking softly. "Now
yous three stay here I'm going to sneak in for my goodies.....and be very very
quiet!" Her birds stared at the bag
of cheetos in her hand not even paying attention but they were quiet so she
turned opening the door to see Viper laid out in bed. Stealthily she tip toed into his chambers
heading around the far side of his bed to the night table beside it to grab his
stash of home grown goodness. She was
carefully opening the draw to snatch it up and what she didn't know was her
feathered friends had followed her in.
She nearly jumped out of her skin when one squawked behind her, turning
quickly she eyed them.
"SHHHHHHHH.....I told you to wait out in the hall, be quiet
now." She whispered glancing out
Viper still asleep. Green goodies in
hand she shut the drawer and leaned over to place a kiss on his forehead before
she headed down to the beach to relax.
Just as her lips touched his forehead ever so lightly Curly landed on
the pillow above his head pulling at the cheeto bag in her hand. Quickly she shooed him from off the pillow
which in return he took flight squawking in displeasure. She jumped back from where she was and high
tailed it towards the door her noisy birds in hot pursuit. Once in the hallway she glanced back in
letting out a relieved sigh to see him still fast asleep, shutting the door she
turned on her birds raising her voice now ever so slightly as she spoke. "Yous almost blew it, now you can wait
until I decide to share with yous."
With a huff she stormed off down the hall with her noisemakers in tow.
Walking through the kitchen she grabbed a four pack of wine
coolers from the refrigerator that was titled ‘Jamaican Me Happy’ before going
out the back door leaving it open for the birds to follow knowing one of the
servants would close it behind them. Normally she would get them out the door
saying her good byes waving at everyone as she went but today she was upset
with the little monsters. La La made her
way down to her favorite out cropping of rocks climbing up to sit on top
opening the small velvet bag taking out the rolling papers to get one then
proceeded to load it with the special cannabis and rolling it up tightly, with
a quick lick across the seem she sealed it twisting the ends. Leaning back she placed it in her mouth
taking the lighter from the bag lighting it up inhaling deeply. Immediately a calmness took over and she
smiled closing her eyes. Her seagulls
were noisily running back and forth across the sand trying to avoid the waves
that rolled in. She sat up looking a
wicked smile curving her lips as she took another puff waiting for the next
wave to come in, then emptied the bag of cheetos into it watching as her birds
scrambled after the now floating goodies.
“Serves you right, work for those snacks now, teach you not to listen to
me!” She spouted off at them leaning
back once more taking another drag off her doobie while enjoying the warmth of
the sun on her skin.
