Origins I have seen more things so horrible you'd die of fright

Thorin is a Celestial Being meaning she was not born in the traditional way. She has no family and was made by The Great Creator for a special task. She was to be the Gateway between realms and had the ability to traverse these realms or send others to them however she did not have the right tools to do so, that was until she was exploring the realms, traveling like a shooting star to wherever it may lead her and that was when she came across Demi-Gods in a battle named Thor, Loki, and Sif.

Thor, Loki, Sif, and the Warriors Three decided to use the Bifrost to reach Jotunheim and attack the Frost Giants by surprise following an unexpected breach of Odin's Vault. Loki prepared to deceive Heimdall, however the Bridge's guardian, knowing their intent and curious as to how the Jotuns had slipped by him, allowed them into Himinbjorg. After activating the Bridge, Heimdall informed them that if their return threatened Asgard, he would keep the Bifrost closed to them, and informed Volstagg that the Bifrost's energy would eventually destroy Jotunheim if left open when the rotund warrior suggested that he leave it open for them.

After seeing the bifrost and those who came through it she snuck along, making herself invisible until the trio disappeared then Heimdell sensed her prescence. She then made herself visible to him and questioned about the method of traversing realms he used and he taught her the ways to use the bifrost, choosing a weapon much like Thors hammer that can summon the bifrost as well as transport others and she takes this knowledge with her and finds the one who made the Hammer Thor wielded. She often times had to battle on certain realms and so she wanted a weapon that could open the Bifrost and also be used in combat.

Luckily for her Heimdell had lost a sword named Hǫfuð, which was wielded by Heimdallr, the guardian of the Bifrost and the herald of Ragnarok. Not a lot is known about Hǫfuð, other than the fact that its name means, 'Man-head.' Heimdallr's head has a lot of mythical associations, so it could be that there was once a lot about there about Hǫfuð that is simply lost to time. So she set out to a point in time when the sword was not lost and took it for herself.

Thorin is a very caring person, therefor she will put her self in harms way to protect others, she will feed the hungry and aid the poor in keeping their land. She is sometimes seen as a goddess and although she wouldn't call herself that she doesn't deny it either. She also will share her foresight on things that will come to pass and base her actions on that as long as it involves saving those who can not save themselves and would be slaughtered.

Present Day Why Have You Sought Me Out?

Today Thorin traverses through the realms and all that is needed to have her aid you is to call her name, Thorin Nilsen, as though praying to a God and she shall appear. She can also see through time and warn others of future doom if they do not change their ways or see their enemies as threats until it is too late. She also tends to be a battle born, someone who seeks out injustice and passes her own upon those responsible for it. Being Celestial she can travel like a shooting star in the night sky and many have made wishes upon her which, being fond of children she answers when they sleep so they may never know it was her granting them what they asked. She weilds the sword Hǫfuð with pride and is a peacekeeper among all the realms where she can strike down those who wish to challenge her.
