DO NOT under any circumstances assume my character has had a previous relationship with your character, is the father, brother, boyfriend or husband of your character without my consent. And lastly, he will not adopt your character should it wind up on his doorstep.
That same rule applies if you happen to want to play Pax′s long lost brother, sister or other family member. Pax′s family history is all laid out. I′m not about to change it for another player′s convenience.
This is a big one. No Drama Queens. IC drama is wonderful. I love it. OOC drama is an entirely different matter. I′m here to role play, not to get caught up in ooc drama. So don′t start that with me. Secondly, I will also delete and block any and all drama queens that I come across if they start drama with me.
RELATIONSHIPS:
I′m anything but a fan of ic whirlwind romances. You know the kind where two characters meet, fall in love and have 2.3 kids in less than ten posts between them. Don′t try that with me. IC relationships take time to develop and there′s no guarantee that my character will fall for or enter into a commitment with yours. Although I don′t have a problem with him getting involved with another character at some point, it′s a long run kind of thing and it could take some time before any of that happens. Bare in mind that Pax does have commitment issues when it comes to this because of the fact he spends so much time working.
Finally, if I politely refuse to enter a ic relationship with your character for reasons such as my character′s sexual orientation doesn′t match having said relationship. Don′t take it personally. I′m not here for the soul purpose of writing smut. For the record, Pax is straight.
Because of Pax′s fame, he takes a while to develop enough trust where he′ll even open up to another character. He is guarded of his personal information and feelings.
Pax is MY character and will be played how I want to play him. I won′t be pressured/guilted or otherwise bullied into changing aspects of his character to suit other players. Neither will I be bullied into doing things that I don′t want to do with him ic or that I can′t picture him wanting to do ic. Pax is as he is and although I′ll change his timeline/universe to fit with someone else′s character; I won′t change his sexual orientation or other important aspects of his character to sate any other player who wants to pair their character with him.
Manners and respect are essential. Don′t attempt to kill or seriously maim my character without ooc permission. In return my character won′t kill or maim yours without permission. That simple.
GRAMMAR, SPELLING AND PUNCTUATION:
Use proper spelling and grammar. Make sure your post is readable before you send it to me. If I can′t read it, I′ll just delete it. Also no net-speak/texting abbreviations whilst in character. Use proper spelled English words and don′t be lazy. Finally, if you just type up one long, unbroken paragraph for me to try and sort out without going to that extra courtesy of spacing out your paragraphs yourself, then don′t expect a reply from me. It′s up to you to do your own paragraphing, not me to do it for you. If you can′t break up your post so it′s not such a headache to read, then any collaboration between our two characters will be short lived.

GENERIC STARTERS:
I don′t usually do generic starters (prewritten starters for easy posting later on without a specific character in mind) because so often they don′t gel with Pax as a character.
POST LENGTH REQUIREMENT:
I′m a multi-para and often novella writer. If I get a one liner post, chances are I may not even respond to your post ic. I don′t do one liners and have a minimum post length expectation of one paragraph (only for non-english natives and those with disabilities or players limited to mobile phones.) If you don′t fit into any of those categories I expect more. I won′t make allowances for anyone who is too lazy. If you′re here to write, then write.
PC4PC:
I don′t do them. If I want to leave a comment on your pictures, I will do so without you needing to feel obligated to comment on one of mine in return. You are free to leave a comment on any of mine if you choose to do so. I also won′t respond to repeated status updates advertising that you would like to do PC4PC. Too many of those requests and I will remove you from my personal status list.
BULLETIN BOARDS SPAM:
If you fill the bulletin boards with repeated posts one after the other day in day out, or use the bulletin system as a personal messenger, then I will remove you from my friends list without hesitation. There′s nothing more annoying than having to sift through 10 posts by one person about the same things over and over again in order to find the posts that I′m actually interested in reading. Sorry, I don′t need to be told twenty times that you need a role filled. Once is more than enough.
COMMENTS FOR ROLE PLAY:
Comments are for role play. Private messages is totally ooc. It′s rare that I will go ic in private messages. If you would like to discuss a storyline at any time, feel free to send me a private message. Statuses are not directly related to the storyline. If my character learns something in a status that is related to any one particular storyline, by the time he′s being played in comments, he won′t know that information until he learns of it through the comment system and through the actual progression of the storyline. I mostly use statuses for ooc updates though and Pax in statuses is more freelance and open about being a vampire. If I go ic in statuses, it′s usually to goof off. The Pax you′ll meet in comments is completely different.
JON BON JOVI:
This is a big one because I′ve had problems with it in the past. Pax is in no way related to Jon Bon Jovi even if there is a little of Jon in there and a lot of Jon not in there. Please don′t refer to how much he looks like Jon Bon Jovi ic. It′s frankly annoying. If it makes you feel better you can think he′s the equivalent of Jon in his own timeline and Jon Bon Jovi doesn′t exist in Pax′s timeline. Pax is still an original character even though I do use Jon Bon Jovi as his playby and adopt a couple of Jon′s personal characteristics into his actions. (I′m a fan of the band and man so what can ya expect ;) ) However it does make it very difficult to establish him as his own character when I′m repeatedly forced to read how much he looks like Jon and how he must be related to him. Yes, believe it or not this has happened to me a few times so I thought I′d finally add it as a rule to prevent future occurrences. I also use Bon Jovi/Jon Bon Jovi music to represent Pax′s work. It makes it much easier for people to understand a how a song goes ic if they can look up the song on youtube and listen to it.
RESPONSES and STORYLINES:
I′m never in a hurry, nor do I pester or contact people privately urging them to hurry up and respond to my last comment. The reverse side of that coin is also true, I don′t expect people to contact me and pressure me to reply when RL otherwise has me occupied. I will respond to ic posts and comments on the weekends as RL allows it. During the week I may log in to check up on ooc messages and storyline discussions but I won′t be getting into serious ic posts until the weekends. This is just to keep my time at the computer to a minimum and minimize the stress on my lower back since I′m prone to back problems. If you have a problem with waiting for responses, I suggest that you avoid getting into a storyline with me.
There′s nothing I dislike more than people adding me and sending me a short ′do you wanna rp?′ message, then leaving it up to me to come up with a storyline. Don′t ask me to role play if you haven′t read my bio or don′t have an idea of what you want to do. I do check bios of people before I start a storyline with them. If you add me it′s not mandatory that we have to begin working on a storyline right away. I know people can get busy and I don′t have any rules about starting a role play up as soon as someone adds me or I add someone else. Just don′t ask me to role play and then expect to just sit back and let me come up with the scenario alone. Coming up with a storyline is a team effort. A collaboration. If you don′t want to participate in the planning stage, don′t bother me.
PROFANITY:
Yes. Pax does swear when he′s angry, annoyed or frustrated. If you have a problem with ic bad language or find it offensive then don′t get into a storyline with this character.
HORROR AND GORE:
Expect it. Pax is a vampire. So there′s bound to be some horror and gore in some of my posts. When he feeds I usually just create NPCs for him to feed on. Don′t ask to role play with Pax if you can′t stand the occasional bloody post.

ABOUT THE CHARACTER:
EARLY HISTORY:
Born Pax Xavior Erris to Ryan and Lydia Erris, Pax grew up without the benefits of some of the richer members of the Erris family but as a child, his parents worked hard to see that he had everything he needed, but not necessarily everything he wanted. This approach on Pax′s young upbringing taught Pax the value of having to work for success.
From an early age(about seven) young Pax showed an interest in music, signing up for glee clubs, choirs, guitar lessons and anything else he could join where he could sing or learn to play music. For his tenth birthday Pax asked his parents to buy him a guitar and he spent countless hours in his room practicing.
Shortly before his seventeenth birthday, Pax became the heir to the Erris family fortune after his Uncle Lorenzo had been killed under suspicious circumstances. The mystery of just who killed Lorenzo to this day has not yet been solved. Lorenzo′s decision to leave his company and wealth to his nephew instead of his ambitious and corrupt son Julian, infuriated Julian. And so with the help of an assembled team of lawyers, he managed to convince Pax to let him run the company for him; assuring him that he could manage the company and company finances in Pax′s best interests.
Pax easily agreed, instead wanting to concentrate on his musical career rather than the running Erris Holdings. In exchange for letting Julian run the company for him, Julian agreed to give Pax ten thousand dollars to start his career. Since Pax had no knowledge of how to run the company, or interest in it, preferring instead to focus on his own career, he happily agreed. What he didn′t know at the time though was that Julian with the help of his corrupt lawyers would embezzle billions of dollars from him over the years, even in spite of Julian′s generous salary as the company′s CEO in Pax′s stead. The true ownership of the company was never revealed and Julian took over as if he owned it, keeping its true owner secret from everyone, including the company workers and staff.
With the 10,000 credits given to him by his Uncle Julian who was running the company Lorenzo had left to Pax, the then seventeen year old aspiring musician decided to go out in search of a recording contract. He took a year off of school to spend a little time pursuing his dream of being a recording artist and spent some time trying to chase up that elusive recording contract. After six months of putting in demo after demo, Pax finally caught the break he was hoping for when an upstart record company known as Loreel Records decided to sign him.
Now that he had the all clear, Pax cut his first single. A song he had penned himself when he was fifteen called "I am," which was an instant local smash. Unfortunately demand for the single outstripped the small Loreel label′s ability to distribute and so his contract was sold to the much larger company Miracle Records. A company he would later purchase.
The success of his first record actually provided Pax with the opportunity and funds to audition potential back up band members. Pax added a drummer (Tony), lead guitarist (Broc) and keyboard artist(Byran) to his band. He didn′t add bass player (Danny) until a year later after he′d cut his first album that was moderately successful.
Although his first album was only moderately successful by the second, Pax-mania had caught on and his second album was a world wide smash hit. So much so that demand was so high Pax and his band were forced to start their fist world tour, performing to sold out stadiums for more than a year. That was the beginning and since then, each subsequent record and tour has gotten bigger and better...
An unscrupulous manager caused trouble and problems in the band and was pocketing large amounts of cash on the side instead of seeing to it that the money went to the charities they were intended for and once he found out, Pax subsequently fired him, taking full control of his own career once more, along with his own namesake and money. He continued to work towards improving on his abilities as an artist and insisted that they all continue to strive to be better. With each subsequent record, Pax tried to stretch himself all that much more in both his writing and musical accomplishments. He′s built the band and his namesake up through a series of trial and error decisions into the multi-billion dollar corporation that it now is.
CAREER:
Under his own management Pax really developed an art for learning through trial and error... Making a lot of mistakes on his way to the top, and getting burned in the process. He still considers himself and his career to be in a good place now, even though Pax is forever trying to better himself as a musician. His interest in music is far from being financial but an artistic and a sincere desire to touch people with his words be they inspirational, uplifting or sometimes even sad.
There′s no greater thrill for him then standing on stage and watching the sold out audiences singing his songs back to him. Although he still makes mistakes, and has faced his own demons in the past including alcohol and drug addiction earlier in his career. He knows what works for him, and what doesn′t when it comes to managing his career/backing musicians and namesake.
Generosity - Pax is a big believer and supporter of charity. He gives often and generously. When he does, he prefers to keep his generosity between himself and the charities and tends to avoid media circuses made by his donations. But whenever he′s asked to be a spokes person he freely volunteers his time to that end. Unlike some other musical artists, Pax refuses to allow his publicist to publicize his generosity. Pax′s interest in charity isn′t for media kudos or to increase his own popularity. He simply sees his charity work as him giving back to those most in need after all of the success he has had.
Pax writes music, plays the guitar and keyboard as well as some percussion.
PERSONALITY:
Pax tries to keep a professional distance from fans and tries to keep his private life private. He is friendly and courteous to fans he meets or that meet him, but his private life is a taboo topic of conversation with people he doesn′t know.
Pax can be sarcastic, dry and moody when he′s feeling stressed. He can also use bad language. Most of the time though he′s friendly, polite and quite easy to get along with. Given his super-star status, he′s learned to be a little weary of people at first meeting, just in case their intentions aren′t honorable. His busy lifestyle means he really doesn′t have a lot of personal time. He tours six months out of every year and spends the other six months writing and recording material for future albums. Occasionally Pax will just take off, not telling anyone and spend a little time recuperating before he heads back out on tour again.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Pax as a human took care of his body, exercising on a regular basis. His physical characteristics make him appear fit, agile, lean and muscular. As a human he considered a high fitness level to be needed in his own mind, so that he could keep up with the touring demand and the nightly stresses on his body when he was on stage. His concerts are highly intense in an aerobic sense. Although Pax does occasionally show off his ripped upper body on stage which sends the female members of his audience into a frenzy, he typically will only expose his chest for a few minutes before he would do his vests or shirts up again. Pax does know how to work an audience though, and it′s an art he′s developed over the time he has spent touring. He knows how far he can go before causing a riot and when to back off.
BECOMING A VAMPIRE IN BRIEF:
Second of February, 2010 was the day Pax died, or was reborn, depending on how you look at it. To his three hundred year old maker, Victoria her reasons were simple enough. Despite the fact that Pax was human, a species she typically saw as cattle, she′d had a long standing infatuation with the rock star, bordering on being an obsession. Knowing that making Pax would bring with it a strong bond or connection between them, she glamoured her way past Pax′s bodyguards in a London Hotel; during the European leg of his tour, gaining entry to his suite.
She waited for Pax to get out of the shower and seduced him, made love to him, and finally made him drink her blood before snapping his neck. During that time that Pax was lying dead on his bed in the hotel suite, Victoria left the room. She was back in his room by the time he woke up an hour later with a human captive. The one ingredient that was required to complete Pax′s transformation. When Pax finally awoke, dazed and disoriented, Victoria got him to drink from her chosen victim by threatening to kill the human if he refused to drink from her. Using his compassion for other people against him, Pax saw it as having no choice but to complete the transformation.
It didn′t take Pax long to realize that he didn′t like Victoria or what she stood for. Her ideas about humans and their inferiority, unimportance in the grand scheme, rubbbed Pax′s humanitarian ways of thinking the wrong way. His compassion for humans had strengthened not lessened after his turning. Victoria died at Pax′s hand when he staked her, releasing himself from her bond.
Pax doesn′t have a problem killing humans that he deems as morally corrupt. Those are the only exceptions he′ll make to killing someone willingly.

A VAMPIRE WITH A SOUL:
VAMPIRE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
This is information about Pax′s particular original ′species′ of vampire. This species is unique and does not conform or belong to any other species in popular culture.
STRENGTHS:
HEIGHTENED SENSES:
All of Pax′s senses have been greatly enhanced after his transition into becoming a vampire. Sight, hearing, taste, smell etc are all far greater than they had once been as a human. Pax also has exceptional night vision.
AGE:
The older a vampire gets, the stronger/more powerful he or she will become. Pax′s age and the level of his ability is entirely dependent on the timeline. He was made vampire in the early twenty-first century. If he′s being played in his vampire form, his age will be dependent on that particular amount of time passed since his transition from human into vampire.
ENHANCED STRENGTH, SPEED AND AGILITY:
All these abilities are greatly enhanced because of Pax′s vampire nature. The extent of their advancement is dependent on Pax′s age. Pax can also jump considerable distances with ease.
HIGHER PAIN THRESHOLD:
Vampires have a much higher tolerance to pain than humans. Their physical bodies are a great deal harder than those of a human-being. They′re not that hard to be impervious to being shot but a human punching Pax could potentially hurt or even break his hand.
ENCHANTED RING:
Pax possesses an enchanted (via witch craft) ring that allows him to walk in the sunlight. The ring is a family heirloom that once belonged to Pax′s Grandfather Lorenzo Erris.
MIND CONTROL/TELEPATHY:
Pax can take control of a person′s will and in doing so he can make them forget, perceive or do as he wishes. Elder versions of Pax can also read minds and personal thoughts of others.
SHAPE SHIFTING, SHADOW WALKING and TELEPORTATION:
Pax is capable of limited shape shifting ability. He can transform into a wolf, bat and mist. Whilst in mist form he′s capable of transporting himself to other places. He can also blend/cloak himself into shadows in order to not be seen by mortal eyes and hide his presence to their human senses.
LEVITATION/FLYING:
Pax is able to levitate and when elder (100+ Year Old) he is capable of flying in human form. In the present time line (21st Century) Pax is only able to levitate unless he is in bat or mist form. In the Trek timeline he is old enough to be able to fly whilst still in human form.
VOICE MIMICKING:
Pax can alter his voice and make it sound like anyone else′s he chooses to.
OTHER:
Pax is also impervious to extreme heat and cold. He doesn′t sweat, shiver, feel cold or hot.
EIDETIC MEMORY:
Pax is able to remember and retain what he reads, experiences, hears etc as a vampire regardless of the passage of time.
HEALING:
Pax′s vampire physiology is able to heal itself from devistating wounds, save from those that would specifically kill a vampire, listed below. His blood if injested or spread on top of a wound of another being can cure severe injuries in that person/being.
WEAKNESSES:
MAGIC:
Like most species of vampire, Pax is also susceptable to magic manipulation.
SILVER:
Has a burning effect on vampires but isn′t fatal. It can be used to weaken or immobilize them.
STAKE THROUGH THE HEART/WOODEN BULLETS/DECAPITATION:
Can kill a vampire. Wooden bullets act as a stake through the heart if shot into the heart of a vampire and can instantly kill them.
SUNLIGHT:
Deadly to Vampires.
NEEDS INVITATION TO ENTER THE PREMISES OF A MORTAL:
This rule doesn′t apply to hotel rooms or crew quarters aboard a starship. Any home of a mortal Pax can not enter without being invited in by someone who lives there. The invitation can be rescinded at any time.
HOLY WATER:
Burns Pax′s skin on contact like acid.
ORIGINAL:
Certain types of species blood can be toxic to this particular vampire. Vulcan/Romulan and Zombie infected blood can make Pax extremely ill.
COMPLEXION:
Pax is able to maintain a human-like complexion through feeding. If he is unable to feed for extended periods of time for some reason, his skin will begin to pale and cool to the point where he will take on the appearance of an animated cold corpse rather than a living human.
MYTHS:
GARLIC - No effect on Pax′s species.
CAN′T BE SEEN IN A MIRROR/HAS NO REFLECTION: Untrue.
